I think Mercs loot was nerfed too much.

I saw 1 divine from lvl 1 to 91 + 1-97. I kept track cus duo, and we only skipped 20 in total in that time frame.

I stopped engaging after I finally rage quit my stubborness fomo -- feels so silly checking a merc and getting a 2c scarab in a map i invested 250c~ in.

Most gear mercs can give is devalued beyond belief--the only gear that feels worth checking is dex/dexint for suppress.

Maybe if I could apply filter to the merc so i didnt have to get rate limited from price checking potentials xdd.

Yeeah reading merc gear is pure pain lol, would be nice if filter could be applied to their whole inventory just like how it works with Ritual inventory box. So only the things you care about would be highlighted. I got tired of reading every single rare they had during my atlas progression and just only clicked the currency thing unless they had some kinda nice unique(which was almost never).

I got 0 divines from them from campaign to lvl95. The only good scarab was a single containment scarab on an infamous merc, which was just a good RNG roll.

I remember them saying in the reveal livestream something along the lines of "mercs will have better loot the more map mods your map has". Well they don't feel like they do? I was doing 8-mod maps and their currency rewards were still total garbage lol
I don't think it would be good even if I ran 18-mod maps with 5x scarabs of risk. I'd much rather run my strongbox/expedition setup with other scarabs.

so what I did was transmute+regal+annul to make them 0-mod rare maps for my challenges.

No surprise you’re complaining about things being unrewarding up and down. From what we’ve seen, your build doesn’t look capable of handling anything beyond basics. You cheesed your way through the new T16 maps just to finish the challenge, so I don’t know how you expect to run risk maps, feels like an imaginary idea.

Looking at your atlas progression, the numbers speak for themselves: 25-30% is just basic atlas progression, add about 13% for T17 maps if you had a carry, if not, let’s be generous and say 6% with Bisection scarabs, plus 15% from 40 unique maps. That leaves you with about 50%, roughly 15,000 quant in other maps over a whole month, which isn’t much at all and clearly shows there hasn’t been much juice involved to be totally fair.

Those few maps did generate you enough currency to afford, let’s be generous, a 5D "min-maxed" build plus all the challenges, but not enough to actually engage with the real endgame and enjoy the big loot like everyone else.

Literally everyone who’s playing the endgame actively, and I’m not talking about originator maps without mods, bisected and gutted T17s, low quant alch-and-go maps, or having others play the game for you via a choo choo carry train, is getting divine orbs and plenty of currency thrown at them thanks to the league mechanics. And yet somehow, you’re the only one who’s incredibly unlucky?

No, before you start, you don’t need a giga-expensive build to engage with juiced endgame. Even SSF players manage it with weird, scuffed builds and some mediocre mid-tier bandage gear, so there shouldn’t be any excuse for why you can’t. The fact that you had to run the new T16 maps without mods already tells a story all on its own.

At this point, it’s hard to take seriously that the game is at fault and everything is "just bad," when it’s really the complete opposite.
