Thanks for mid league nerf
Great, this is going to be the first league I quit at this point. I've been taking it easy getting to end game farm and now you create a divide between the haves and the "have not farmed this content yet" with the T16.5 map nerf.
Excellent, no matter what I do I am going to be behind, if this was an actual bug that benefitted certain players but not everyone fine, nerf it. But now you punish players that didn't get to that point yet, which is your prerogative, it's your game you balance it the way you like. For me however, first league I won't be playing to the end. Thanks. Last bumped on Jul 5, 2025, 10:13:53 AM

It had so much potential for "play until the end" and they nerfed what? 8 mod, not the Blight heart which crashed servers and caused lags
But 8 mods that were fine for server and players |

Indeed Hornsent, that's the frustrating part just no point in committing to playing a league like this. I don't mind if things get changed that are obviously broken, but this seems so small and anyone who didn't choose to play that content yet is now forever 5 steps behind the people that did.
Good to see you made it to 40 challenges this league at least, congrats on that! |

So, what's the problem exactly?
T16.5 maps were supposed to have a mix of T16 and T17 map mods, and you're upset that GGG fixed a bug where corrupting maps gave them pure T17 mods? PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

Yeah I think the real issue here is that people were running these maps with the extra mods that shouldn't have existed - this obviously translates into juicier maps, better returns - kinda like a dumbed down T17 with a better layout, and so many people were selling 8mod maps that literally they were like 3c a piece, I paid 3div for like 20 something originator bases.
That's the reality here. People are just salty because at the end of the day it's less juice for your investment. Find another strat and move on. ★ Forum Threads ★

" Yes, it's literally this. Players who are not good enough to run T17s are mad because now the exact same type of maps they were running before only exist as T17s. |

" The problem is that you allow nolifers abuse this for 2 weeks, accumulate thousands of divines from it, and by the time general population reaches it and has a slight hope of profiting from this obviously fun new farm, you nuke it into the ground making that farm legacy. This is a huge change that will make people quit because it is unjust and everyone who understands it loses the will to play. Even if it was a bug, it should've been left in there until new league. What mid league nerf did was create a forever fomo which can now never be satisfied since whatever nolifers farmed for 2 previous weeks is no longer possible. Essentially GGG f'd up so hard they created a legacy content inside the league just 2 weeks into a new league, which is horrible. Last edited by Rod#7054 on Jul 1, 2025, 9:48:02 AM

" I think Rod says it better than I did, exactly this. I don’t have a problem with bugs being fixed, and I understand that some interactions can’t stay in the game forever, especially if they’re truly broken. But what happened here goes beyond fixing a bug. The issue is timing and impact. By mid league nerfing something that was already widely farmed, GGG created an artificial legacy state inside the league itself. That’s not just frustrating, it’s demoralizing. Your potential earnings, your ability to catch up, and your access to a certain level of power are permanently capped compared to players who did. In a trade league, where your progress is directly affected by the economy and what other players were able to farm, that has real consequences. I’m not asking for handouts, and I don’t mind being slower or less efficient than top players. That’s normal. But when the most lucrative content gets disabled after being farmed en masse, it warps the economy and leaves the rest of us competing against the output of something we no longer have access to. That isn’t a skill gap, it’s a missed window that shouldn’t have closed mid league. If it was a bug, fine. Fix it next league. Or sunset it with a warning, not a silent or sudden patch. That way, at least everyone is on notice and can decide how to play around it. Right now, it just feels like the ladder was pulled up... Last edited by prayanavita#1159 on Jul 1, 2025, 10:03:21 AM

" So people getting bent out of shape over very obvious bug fixes? Whew lads, we have a serious lack of adversity in the world. Last edited by Sabranic_SilverDeth#2793 on Jul 2, 2025, 7:16:34 PM

I didn't get to take advatage of it either....get..the...F...over...it.
It was a bug an needed to be fixed leaving it unfixed longer simply isnt an option. Find a different grind and get over it. |
