Please revert the change to 16.5

I mean the 8 mod change

THere is no reason to nerf it mid league when people already made builds for these maps.

Make this change in 3.27, don't kill the league.

It was clearly a bug, and they fixed it. I don't think they want players having maps with 8 t17 mods.

Bug or not, all nolifers abused that broken mechanic FOR TWO WEEKS. This will create a huge gap between those who abused that mechanic and accumulated hundreds / thousands of divines from those strats and those who are just starting. This will kill the league for 90% of players and for what ? to fix something that nobody asked to fix ?.
Why not wait till new league to fix it ?.

They kept some bugs that affected player power before until the next league.

Like Abyss Affliction, which was actual bug, and it was kept.

This should be done again.

Let people have fun after a year of Settlers. This "bug" produces super hard maps with good loot, which makes sense, it isn't like it's tier 1 map with good loot.

Doryani Merc isn't fixed, and it gives 400% more damage to lightning builds.

Now the league is dead for everyone but some gropus who farmed 500+ legacy 8 mods and can farm those for another month.

sad thing is, they apperently are only able to make good content by accident these days, 16.5 8mods was by far the most fun GGG has produced in the past 4 years, its sad

back to the t17 mines, buying them off 3rd party sites because you cant sustain that sht in any way

I wouldn't say it's dead. At the end of the day you have to enjoy what your doing.

I was doing the 16.5 abyss strat and after two hours and dropping a lock which paid for my headhunter, I got bored of clicking hoards.

Having a quad of 8 mod maps is great for sustain too but it's impossible to sell through tft when there are 10000 other people selling them.

So after getting my headhunter I went back to farming beasts, because I enjoy farming beasts.

The league is not dead, people just need to move on and find something else. There is always a new meta, or a new best "whatever" it just has be discovered maybe by other people instead of fubroan or anyone else who plays 14 hr per day.

I agree, don't brick the league by artificially limiting who can and can't do this farm. If something is obviously broken fix it, but this has impact on trade league, now everyone who did not farm this is forever behind and has to compete against the purchasing power of players that did farm the content.

I agree there's always different farms and that's fair, there might even be better undiscovered ways of farming in the current league. That does not take away that removing a popular method, that not everyone might have gotten to yet in the middle of the league.

Seems unfair to drop this without warning.

I think the easiest way to help people move on is to give out a free atlas respec, not having access to your farming method is a massive change and this at least would be a nice gesture.

Sadly the damage is done, my entire friendlist quited the league after the news :

I can see why, I just had a look at SteamDB also a visible accelerated loss of player count in the last 24 hours. Shame, I was still having fun and was gearing up for the end game.

Let's hope Chris Wilson gets PoE3 out soon then!
