Nobody's saying your feedback is any less valid or consequential than that of other community members. But choosing to specifically pass comment on how the game has changed over time - when you've not really been around to know how it used to be - comes across as strange.

Society has change a lot since the '70s. Given that I was born in the '90s, I typically leave attempts to articulate such to those with more first-hand experience than I. Just my $0.02.

cause he said he spent 100 hours trying different builds, but he has 6 endgame characters on his account and they are all occultists basically playing the same skeleton build with the same gear.

Different builds on witch, respecs etc. I didn't actually level that many different characters. Also this isn't my original account. I lost access to that one due to a litany of reasons(what a freaking year 2020 was). I've been playing this game for a long time.

This is power creep of the last few leagues in action. Builds viability is dictated by the new map tiers and more specifically, what can handle the map mods with increased effect. Even T16 maps have seen a huge boost in difficulty after the most recent altas rework that added a lot more increased effect. The overwhelming majority of builds arent going to feel good to play because they cant handle it. If you want to do the latest content and cool farming strats you need to play the well known and tested tech, and you need to put a lot of currency into it. There is no way around that.

I always said that POE2 can only become aa good game if it becomes more like POE1. So naturally, the devs decided to make POE1 more like POE2. Yeah, this game is now worse than it's been pretty much ever. Luckily, there's POE3 in a few years, if 1/10th of a dollar demands it, that is.

This doesnt apply to standard players because on standard mode is a joke but

Yeah I quit this league and this game also.. GGG has made this game unbearable... it is no longer fun.. they constantly nerf everything, force you into playing like one of three builds each league.. and then after that league is over those builds are going to be nerfed...

Also one thing that made me stop giving this company money along time ago was the constant adding in b.s. mods and stupid stuff like invulnerability aura, special DOT's, the elimination of alch and go play style, T17 map mods etc but invulnerability aura needs to be either deleted on monsters or only affects the individual monster and its minions... not every fucking thing it is around.. and its cool down is literally half a second and up time is like 15 seconds...most annoying thing in the game but there are other annoying things in this game also like apparitions after you kill rare monsters... To me it seems like GGG constantly tries to make this game more and more frustrating and well they certain have done it to me... also cannot forget the constant changing of mechanics and other things...

In short GGG really knows how to take the fun out of this game...
