What in the actual **** is going on with Kirac Missions?

horizon orbs are your best friend. Kirac has always been a hit or miss even with the atlas points. It's kinda just a bait to spec into

Well I've gotten 3 kirac missions out of 10 maps with just the top 6% chance specced, so it should work ok. What it seemed strange was I run a yellow jungle valley kirac, only to realise it naturally was t11. Had no idea kirac could roll lower tiers on maps that their natural drop.

It really depends. While more reliable in ssf it's still a heavy bait there from time to time as luck can simply screw you up. For a non ssf scenario? Nothing but bait as you can crush through the atlas day 1-2 without any kirac at all.

Pash, you are wrong. You speak as someone who very clearly simply doesn't use Kirac. Speccing into him, and additional reroll drop chances is the absolute fastest way to complete the atlas, in SSF and trade. It saves the hassle of having to TRADE for unique maps which is a real pain in the arse. Let alone if you happen to be missing those one or two white/yellow maps...

You are simply stuck in your own way of doing it, which is fine. But it is most certainly NOT bait, nor is it really even luck especially with singular rerolls and the one that straight up gives you uncompleted maps.

Having enough Kirac missions, and dropping more rerolls means you almost entirely remove luck from the equation. Plus, with the currency exchange you can get rerolls much easier than trading for maps any day of the week.

There's a reason that MOST streamers have Kirac fully specced in their league-starter atlas trees. Including folks like Ben, Ziz, Ghazzy, Magefist, and others.

Am i missing something? Kirac has never been a problem...not sure why i dont have missions

Oh I used him multiple times in various leagues during a ssf league start and it has always been a hit or miss. While maybe true for ssf it's not the fastes way in trade league as you can just downright pick better options to gain more currency not only for the unique maps day one or two but also to gear up pretty fast.

A quick trade or having to rely on inconsistent kirac mission procs and rerolls, pick your poison. Trading dirt cheap things like maps during the first two or three days is smooth as butter, but ofc if you're late to the party you'll have to message multiple people to get a trade. Kinda natural that people start to do less low value trades after a while. But hey doesn't seem like you started out at all this league, so I don't even know why you bother to tell people how things work out while even OP created a post about the frustrating experience with Kirac that can happen from league to league.

I don't know, unless I play ssf I obviously pick the most efficient way to get the atlas done which is by far not kirac. If I start out in ssf it's the only option to get the full atlas done without raw unique map drops. Is it consistent? No. Can I fully rely on having the same progression speed each time? No. Well yea hence it's a big bait if you pick it in a trade scenario.

And who exactly cares about what streamer do? It's nothing new that people blindly copy paste whatever anyone with the overrated "content creator" tag does.
I mean Ben plays ssf, no shocking surprise that he picks whatever is the best option for ssf. Ziz also ssf enjoyer. Ghazzy hideout trade warrior, Magefist going down the full trade route.

Looks like even your favorite content creator pick the best options within their playground.

It was changed (pre settlers I think?) some time ago. Kirac doesn't give you free missions if you haven't specced him on the atlas tree and the percentage is quite lower than it used to be.
