Still the server issues persist. Four times its happened today. I don't believe for one second this is a ddos attack. The servers have been terrible for months. Now, since everyone has migrated over to the US servers from Europe,its happening on those servers as well. Not only is it the dcs, its also fps drops/freezes every minute or so. Not much of a drop, but enough for me to to get killed. No other online game does this for me.

I'm so tired of losing progress, loot and xp.

Not sure about the one-shot mechanics still. If I am one shot from a slam, in melee range, I can live with that. But when it's from a full screen away, from a spell you cannot avoid, with 80% resistances and enough life to manage. That feels like building a character is worthless. We should never feel our multiple hundreds of hours of work into a character are worthless.

If risk/reward is the main factor, then having precious items produce a power scaling on the merc makes a bit of sense. I saw a character find 2x Mirror of Kalandra on a merc and beat it easily. But I want to get a third rate item to use in recombination and I get one-tapped with a tank. Dunno. Feel bad.

I would like to re-iterate what someone else stated in this thread about rarity of Merc spawns. I've been looking to upgrade my Eruptor from level 70 to 83 and haven't seen another one in half my atlas and more. I've been exiling as many as I can too. I can live with rarer and special mercs but if you are using one I think it would be better to increase the odds of that same one appearing so you can upgrade. Perhaps have a bit of lore that your merc is being chased by it's own kind whilst it is working for you.

That being said, I'm really enjoying the new content, the memories etc. New pinnacle bosses are kind of interesting (although Sirus mini-boss was better than the original sirus fight).

Yeah, GGG NEVER lets you have fun and there is NEVER anything absurdly powerful in the game. They are actively making the game for you, you specifically, to not have fun.

Fix your servers, I can't be disconnected from 10 to 10 minutes, EU is dead, SA is dying, and DC keep in a rollback loop from time to time.

Can acendancy please be changed i have hundreds of hour in poe2 and i dont see how anyone could enjoy it .its easly the worst thing about the game and it not even close it takes way to long just to get 1shot by the boss

After playing over 600 hours i think im done seems like the last thing GGG wants is for casuals to enjoy the game I've yet to get the 4th acendancy done on any character many of the people i played with have dropped the game simlpy because acendancy is god awful

Ever merc i hire in acts 1-5 is usually dead before i leave the zone I found them in.
I don't really care because its like 3 hours max im spending in that time, but it does just really suck.

exept its not an exploit though? have you tried actually reading what the armor does? it works exactly as intended

The armor is meant to make the wearer extremely fragile against lightning hit damage absent extreme investment in armor and extremely fragile against lightning DOTs whether invested or not.
