That’s the whole point of the change. Mercs were free triple/quad damage with minimal investment. Doryanis reduced their resit to -200% and yet they still survived regularly in maps, which is ridiculous. It’s time to learn to build some defence on them instead of expecting them to survive everything without any defensive gear.

It’s not GGG that’s suppose to fix your mercs survivabillity, it’s YOU the player. Buckle up, time to get them some better gear and actually invest into the league mechanic.

We have ascension levels, passives and a whole network of skill-gems that are protecting us during combat, not to mention lacking the critical thinking needed to avoid fire, poison, aoe - (standing in everything harmful) - (taunting the entire pack and diving into the middle of it) - The sniper/more defensive champions can pretty much run gearless because of how well they position and because they disengage when being attacked, they don't dive into their death - where as, the blade guys and leap guys just leap right into the action, head first.


The part that sucks here is that the change came what after less than a week of many of us grinding, designing our whole builds around them, testing/limit testing them - working hard to get a stronger one - many of us FOUND that stronger one and it fit so we spent our hard-earned DIVS on building around that guy, like a companion, like a friend - It was actually a very enjoyable part of this game for me.

I think there has to be better solutions here than flip-flopping between "reduce durability -80% aoe dmg-" etc!

I'm thankful they at least did this as a "bandaid" to this situation it's creation, I was ready to log out - I was feeling SO excited to play today, finally dialed in and ready to push - log in hotfix..

A have this problem too before years when i have slowest internet every new league or biggest update STEAM delete me game and restart download.
go standalone client - only send email to support and GGG transfer your account to standalone client you only need new Email.
