they need nerf merc damage by 80% or something this is CRAZY

i keep getting 1 tapped especially by str mercs like literally they hit ground slam i die instantly in map with 0 extra dmg mods why are they so ridicilously overpowered? when are they gonna get nerfed

Mercs with good rolls on gear can kill in split second a char built with nothing but def in mind. May be you should up your brain.

On the other hand - the game is famous for its 1-2 hit KOs so nothing new under the sun I guess.
Ya, a kinetist or w/e they are called with good gear + body swap = instant death. No strafing, no running, no defenses can stop a 'teleport to target and blow up in the same instant'

Meh, I dont mind dying. If I start turning down encounters cause they might be spicy the game gets boring.

Ah, classic case of trying to flex with the "cool on paper" stats.
The 90 all res and block really screams "I’m trying to make it work," but unfortunately, block alone won't do much when big physical hits slip through. Sure, the shifted damage to fire is handy, but it’s about as useful as a wet napkin when the real hits come in.

You're also not doing yourself any favors with that low damage—just gives mercs more time to land that one clean hit, and let's be real, that's all they need to finish you off.

Looks like it’s time to stop riding the "bait pick" train and actually try something that works, instead of complaining that something needs a nerf when your own build is clearly the problem. Unless, of course, you’re cool with tossing your entire loot stash at a build that still gets steamrolled. But hey, paper numbers look great, right?

Except you'd still die occasionally. Minion builds are not great at avoiding ground effects, mines and telegraphed AoEs.
