People are fickle and they act like this is the only game that gets bombed on the boards. It's not, not even remotely. The same types of people, the same rhetoric, the same clown emojis and flame comments are present on most message boards now and it's just how it is. If you like the game play it, if not dont and go find something else to complain about.

Shilling for a terrible game full of game breaking bugs is not productive. They said they wouldn't nerf midway through leagues and the completely broke my choir of the storm build. In fact all my gear was instantly worthless because the build is unplayable. I couldn't even sell my stuff to fund a new build so I quit. The game is 8999 Chinese bots and you. 900 hours of supporting other players and creating big reports for a payoff of nothing. Jokes on me. I paid 60 bucks for a game and spent 900 hours playing to get my character turned off halfway through the 2nd season. These guys can suck my balls.

I mean no disrespect here, but I would feel bad if a new player read what you wrote and was confused by your comments.

I'll use my own self as an example so this isn't a finger pointing session. I purchased the $100 pack initially because it allowed me advanced early access to a game which isn't released yet, and to show my support. I loved the game and dev team so much that I went and bought two more $100 packs to show my support. I really enjoyed the game and went all in one day to support the dev team. I bought a Vaal supporter pack, a Karui supporter pack, and a Liberator supporter pack to show my support. Then I let my son throw on all the cosmetics for his character that he likes when he plays with me in the morning. He's 7, but loves the game, too!! We run dual Deadeyes currently, but that changes often.

I went into this with the understanding that my gear and characters will ALL be locked into a totally different server at release, too. I'll play the standard server on live at release and just start over. The best part of this game is the journey, anyways. This is early access and it's a way for the dev team to make sure that when Version 1.0 is released, it's solid. However long that takes, because quality still matters to some companies. Worth the wait. This will run at least a decade.

Game just isn't fun for most people, PoE1 is. I tried over and over again after various patches but, for me, it just isn't fun.

For a new player, here is what to expect.

1. The game is totally broken. The chat lags the game FFS.

2. You will get 1 shotted no matter the build. So the only efficient builds are glass cannons. They literally built one shot mechanics into the bosses.

3. The devs will tell you one thing and do the exact opposite. IE: "we wont nerf things mid season"

4. The metas all suck. It's either exploit Choir or stat stacking LS. I can't even fathom seeing people so happy to get a tri attribute ring and sell it for 200 divs. It's insanely retarded.

5. The classes suck. Lich, stormwhatever, archmage, literally every class is useless besides Bloodmage and Ritualist. (I looked at the classes for 2 seconds in December and instantly knew that a spark CoC Bloodmage would be the best class. Why play anything else when you can just insta nuke everything?) Add a choir to also kill bosses instantly.

6. The chinese overlord company is just going to nuke the game now that they got all the money out of it. Imagine having a dream of making the greatest game ever only to sell out to a chinese company that uses it as a money grab. Evidenced by the 1 update every 2 months. They just really don't care because it's not bringing in money. It's literally disney buying starwars.
