So are you guys on vacation? Is the Dawn of the Hunt ever going to end?

The GGG leadership do more interviews than any other game studio on the planet, maybe more interviews than all other major studios combined. And they've been running a free game with no pay to win for over 10 years. You sound entitled and disconnected from the business of games.

Sorry mate, but thats not really correct. Larian Studios for example has a lot better communication.

Then you have warframe who are propably the closest to what GGG is considering they published their own game build trust over years etc. and run a game without P2W for over 10 years.

They have regular dev lifestreams. Their communication is mostly better than GGG.

Swen Vincke does one hour-long interview per year, maybe. GGG leadership does 2-hour interviews every few months. Warframe I don't follow, so won't comment.

Edit: Actually I will say about Warframe that I'm not sure they are a "major studio," because of their active and max player numbers. I know they make a great product and are respected. But if you look at any studio with GGG's numbers or higher, and you won't see many interviews with top people.

Why the focus on Interviews. Engaging with the community is equally if not mroe important than interviews. Also Larian is a bad example cause tehy make singlepalyer rpgs. Butr still pretty good communication with q&a behind the scene etc.

For Warframe it has over 48.000 Players that are playing concurrently only on steam. They also keep those numbers up, because they dont have Seasons. That is a massive number. POE is down to those numbers in around 2 months after a league start and then under those numbers for the rest of the league. Warframe also has thei own con, Tenno Con, like Exile Con for POE. Both games are the best comparison you can do in hte gaming industry. Yes Warframe does not have the Peak Numbers that POE1 and 2 have, but its more consistent with the numbers. And has a massive Playerbase. Warframe is one of the biggest live service games in the world.

That's what I said in my comment and you replied "Sorry mate that's not really correct," even though it was correct. Now you're saying that Larian (which you brought up) is a bad example, and GGG's off-league player count is the same as Warframe's best-ever player count. (PoE1 players + PoE2 players = Warframe players.) Ok fine, I probably agree with both of those points.

Fair point in my mind i connect Interviews with great communication, which isntr farfetched. No Warframes best ever playcount 180k. I said concurrent palyers Daily. That means the peak numbers daily is 48.000!!! DAILY!!!!

All on Steam. You didnt even check numbers! Or even verify Numbers. How do we have a basis of discussion here? Anyway im not continuing this.

Dawn of the Hunt stared on April 4th. There is a 4 month cycle, so expect news soon and new league July/August. Not hard to fathom, is it?
HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?
Why are people comparing dev interview frequencies? who cares? GGG is doing enough in that lane.

If op actually listened to the latest interview, he should know the next PoE2 season is at the beginning of August.

The game isn't free. On top of paying for EA, they created a model that forces players to buy QOL content(stash tabs) if they want to play beyond Act 1.
Yeah the fact that we are only at a single update is kind of troubling. They did mention 0.2.2 and .3 but I doubt we get more than a single update before the new league and it will likely just be Poe 1 features and QoL stuff. I assume "teaser season" will start second or third week of July.

They did not specify begining of August. They said 4 months cycles and the next season is in August. Logically that would mean begining of August but that's not how GGG handles dates lol

It will be "sometime in August"

I assume it will more closely mirror 2 months after PoE 1s launch than a strict 4 months since the last poe 2 league. So perhaps around August 14th.
