New poe1 league lost 30k players in a single day

Failed to reach 200k on steam. I think they need to make poe1 more like the second one in order for the game to not die

High number of DCs. Gotta measure that against a league with similar connection problems.
They really need to bring on a top-tier site reliability engineer. This type of situation is avoidable, but it requires a specialist. |

Surely those who were saying that POE 2 is dead when it lost a huge chunk of players are surely worried that POE 1 is dead.

" People unable to literally login into the game has nothing to do with login numbers dropping. Can't argue with that logic. poe1 is a lot more fleshed out and if someone never tried it they should give it a proper go. Its progression and agency in what content you want to run is far, far superior to the barebone endgame poe2 currently has. |

An number of the dropoffs will be new POE2 Players that decided to try POE1 and decided it was not for them.
The surprising part for me is that this league, which was so anticipated, had less players on start than the start of the last League (Settlers), despite all the POE2 naysayers saying how much better POE1 is. |
