Now we cannot block Heist contract to drop, can we request entire Heist removed in 3.27?

Too many Extra Content in-game, let just remove Heist. I am tired to sell Heist contract that i don't play

heist has the short end of the stick since 3.24.

They removed implicits on contracts (that was a sextant mod) and in 3.24 when they did a big pass on "chance" nodes they skipped heist. You still max out at +40% chance to see an additional smuggler's cache and other heist nodes are meh at best.

Heist as mapping mechanic is just bad and should not be ran unless they expand it with scarabs (fully unveiled BPs, more smg caches etc).

Heist itself is good tho. Takes some time to farm up gear and roll it (job speed is all you need for heist to feel comfy) and then its smooth sail towards curios. Most of them are 1c uniques but divines appear quite commonly actually.

Don't pick them up?

If you don't want to see them, you get set up filterblade.

I for one enjoy heist, and run a lot of them.

I will grant it was nice to be able to block content however. I miss that.

yeah, i probably set up filter all contract, leaving blueprint that worth a bit more


But WTF is that band-aid solution of removing a notable for one Extra Content, instead of just make it 11 notables

The whole no-drop quest items are kinda stupid but Heist is one of the best leagues they've ever made. Tons of character dialog for you and with each other. Each with their own side quests and end-quests. They've never made a better league in terms of immersion and RP.

It's a real shame is was scuffed by players trying to run a stealth league with 50 zombie Necros then further destroyed by alt gems being removed and loot reduced.

I have two friends who've never played PoE1 and I told them to play Heist for the story. It's the most complete and comprehensive addition to the game. So much context for other leagues gets cut.

I was making jokes before this league about newer players doing Shaper / Elder and seeing Zana for the first time. She's just there with no explanation at all.

For lore, the best league they don't add to the core is always Synthesis

Betrayal also has lore via dialogues, and not in the same level of tedious as Heist

Heist isn't what it was supposed to be. It was a stealth league they demoted into a bad version of mapping. That has nothing to do with the quality they put into it.

Comparing it to Betrayal is almost insulting. Do you know anything about It That Feeds or Chimeria? I don't, because they're just one-liner characters pushed by June's agenda.

Every character in Heist has a personal story. All of them interact differently with each other. They're fleshed out characters to actually get involved with and care about.

Just like old master rotation, no one really want to play it every 3 months.


Either they add 11 notables, or chop another Extra Content from the game, or chop Heist

It is not acceptable that it was blockable and suddenly just remove it.

Or are they try to test the data that once it is not blockable, how many people still pick up heist stuff (and play). Hope they collect enough data and make a decision of this failed league mechanic that revised many times during Heist league

The same players that want Heist removed are probably the same ones who wanted Sanctum to be nerfed into the ground.

Never forget the Alt Qual Gem deletion, the Ex > Div swap and loss of various crafting methods.

Revive Metamorph/Crucible. Refine Sentinel/Kalandra content. Bring back legacy modifiers/values.
