But they *do* get to choose when they make their own servers live with the patch, and when the league is marked as starting while the servers are live.

They very easily could have held it back... and if you look at the current situation (only a fraction of PS5 playerbase can get in, and now have 5+ hour headstart over the rest of us), they definitely should have.
