solo play nerfed and will be eclipsed economically in 3.26

The matter is getting considerable attention, seeing how many duplicate threads are popping up across the various subforums...

Damn, you're in here making duplicate posts too? Please keep these to yourself.

Thank you.

Lol !
From my experience with D3's AH, I'd tend to agree.
(But then I've never (properly) played Trade PoE1, supposedly it's its own kind of crack...)

If you have a shitton of time, sure. It can be fun, the game gives you the tools to grind and chase your build. But for my semi-casual ass, it takes too much time. So I end up chilling in trade league without falling for the mind trap of competing to be the richest.

Why not play Standard then, gives you all the time you'd want.
Especially now that Kingsmarch is going core !
(A bit too casual for your taste ?)

I'm sure you have like 10 times more of standard league playtime than me. Wanna bet that your standard stash is all organized with less than 3 "remove only" tabs? Don´t make me unmask you. :)

I'm sorry if you read this wrong, I never claimed that I had any significant amount of Standard play myself (yet)
(between being a relatively new player, Settlers going on for so long, and being hard to imagine playing Ruthless without cheap re-specialization through gold...)

I'm very fine with that. Letting people with a lot of tryhard mentality who treat the game as a job to work hard to add items to the supply chain while I simply play the game at my own pace and eventually buy out my whole build from them. Win-win situation. Always been like that, nothing really changed.

but that's not how it works.
it will drop more currency and less items for those groups, 101 economics, guess what happens when you create more currency?

exactly, for the rest of us, items will be more expensive couse overall the currency is worth less.

and pair it with the fact that less items drop for them. so its a double down nerf for solo play.

less items = more expensive + currency is less worth.

let's see the price a MB will reach this league.

I don´t know, man. This seems speculative at this point. If this scenario comes to fruition , it will be a trainwreck and if GGG committed to this huge oversight, they will have to fix it in no time.

Bottomline, don´t worry, have fun, blast away.

From what you wrote it implied that you were being ironic and sending me to the standard limbo. Maybe we failed at communicating here. At any rate, I never, ever touch standard. Peace out!
Just grind, the game is fun enough.

Nonsense. The drops and weights are literally designed around the existence of trading. SSF is a handicap challenge.

Both can be true? Make love, not war. Play the game the way you like. While I agree that the game is centered, balanced and built around an economy, that doesn't mean that a lot of people can't find the game "100% more engaging" when playing SSF.

Each to their own.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
PoE SSF is a joke compared to Last Epoch and its Circle of Fortune.

I send you back in time and let you try to defeat Dominus on campaign gear. It was tough and rewarding. Same player archetypes: The Git Guds, Helpers, NoJobers etc.

What's changed imo is the chase has scaled to much. D2 had a sweet spot with Baal and Cows for many leagues etc. This carrot was obtainable but not given. Poe is way more complex and doesn't need 45 pinnacle bosses for different loot vectors. It just needs better chase scaling. Add more deterministic drops for people.

IMO YMMV.

Enjoy the game, I'm going to.
