Updates On MTX Merging/Transfering?

I suggest either breakdown and get some tabs to enjoy the season if you have some extra points ( I wouldn't buy any points until they do the transfer or go the sinful route and stop playing.) If I didn't have two accounts with tabs I'd go the sinful route for sure but I'm 100% not giving ggg money again until they actually do the service they said they would provide 7 months ago.

I'm missing a few tabs from the console version, but didn't want to spend extra points on something I (technically) already have unlocked.

I'll try and deal with it for now, if it gets too annoying I'll just stop playing.

I honestly think they haven't done a single one time mtx transfer since the announcement and lets be honest they can't even unlock peoples accounts in a timely manner either. Mid 2026 before we see people start saying they get these transfers finished. I hope I'm wrong but wouldn't be surprised if it takes even longer than that.

10 days away from 8 months waiting for this one time transfer

Been waiting on my account/mtx transfer since Dec 2nd. Never sent any follow up emails since they told us to send just one and wait. Never received any reply either.

Just 8 months of waiting on a transfer so I can have all my stash tabs on this account and enjoy playing the game....

Completely unacceptable.

im still waiting as well, the last mail i've received, which was the "Please let us know if you would like to proceed with this" mail, is from the 1st of december. of course i sent my confirmation mail on that same day, so i'm waiting for almost 8 months now...

Update: This has to be some sort of joke.

Now I'm being asked for Steam transactions IDs, and other payment methods, in order to merge the MTX? Just received an email asking about all this information.

GGG has all the information about our accounts, why would they need these?

And besides, I'm trying to send my Xbox/Microsoft account MTX to Steam, why would you need my Steam transactions?

It's been almost 1 YEAR and this hasn't moved forward.

Update 8/20/2025 they emailed me and asked if I still wanted this after waiting almost 9 months 1 day away of course I did lol. So they did finally do the MTX transfer 5 days ago 10/1/2025 I did provide both Xbox and GGG ids of the two supporter packs I wanted and couple others purchases just to help provide more proof so that might of helped speed my process up. Well 95% of the microtransactions I opened on Xbox they took them away and gave me the mystery boxes to open again better than not getting them I guess but I did get pretty lucky on some openings. I'm assuming they are random haven't opened any yet. It seems there are some inconsistencies with whatever process they do because they left like 18 cosmetics (close to 30 more mystery boxes) on my Xbox account most seems to be the ones I combined when you could convert 2 items into a new items when you could get duplicates from (Carnival & Polaris) but also at the same time they did transfer some of the cosmetics I opened as well like 1 cape from Polaris. I don't know why some items transferred and some items became mystery boxes again. They also didn't transfer 1 stash tab and the gore blood weapon cosmetic that came with the first blood pack you can buy. Tbh that one is on me I forgot to show them the id for that purchase so I contacted them and asked why they left some cosmetics behind and if they could please send them along with the 1 stash tab and the first blood cosmetic over to this account. I will update again when I find out if they will fix this and the leftover cosmetics.

TLDR:
They're finally doing the MTX transfers I asked for mine on November 21st 2024 and just got it done 5 days ago seems its not a prefect process and some items could be transferred and others turned back into the mystery boxes and even some items left behind. Make sure to send ids from both Xbox and GGG of the most important stuff like supporter packs first blood pack. Contacted them again see if they will fix the issues will update when I get emailed again.

Edit: Another reason for the faster process could be after a patch in 0.2 my lifetime purchase key from Xbox I gave my friend just stopped working for him and had to contact support for them to fix it they had me do the verify my account thing when you click contact support on the site at the top so that could also be why my process was faster.

Anyways hopefully you get your transfer done and without issue soon good luck.

Was just told that mine cannot be done as it was done after the announcement was made - as a new player coming in to Path of Exile, falling foul of the bizarre sub-account split, awful lack of clarity on the subject, convoluted upgrade pathways for MTX, and being made to wait 9 months on top of that?
