The build using CoC and Choir of the Storm is not bricked. It does less damage but still rips through content really well.

Go to youtube and checkout post nerf videos from creators like ImJustAnthony and you'll find solutions that will regain you some of the lost DPS.

I feel you though because I was playing the Bieras Anguish build and then they "fixed" that. Then I switched to the CoC Blood Mage build and they now have also "fixed" that.

Really, I decided after the Bieras thing that I won't give GGG any more money. You have to vote with your wallet I think since they don't seem to care.
