better balance...trials are still bullshit....

I haven't played in a few months and thought I'd pick it up and try it out...and they have made improvements...except for trials

How are on Earth are they letting this bullshit through? I can't believe it. It is still one of the worst designed mechanics in a game I could imagine. It is terrible from start to finish, and skill has nothing to do with it.

I'm just going to pay someone to do it for me cause I refuse to waste my time with this garbage.

If they keep this in for the full release, I can't imagine I'll come back. I can tolerate pretty much everything else, except for this.

Trials are not really that hard of a challenge.
Umm...yes they are.

Even if you remove all of the actual player evidence that this is the case, GGG themselves, the developers of the game, have explicitly said they are supposed to be challenging. They are designed that way.

I'm not going to list off everything, but there is a ton of things that are objectively badly designed. The difficulty level is, obviously, going to be entirely relative to a number of factors. That is how difficulty works. The design itself, however, is bad.

Obviously some people are doing it, but don't bring your black and white fallacy arguments here. Just because some people are doing it doesn't mean it's designed well. Bring facts or don't bring anything at all.

There is a long list of things about the trials that are objectively bad in terms of design, and these have been listed off many times. On a general point, it's the ton of responses that say it is badly designed. They can't all be dismissed with "you can't do it".

If you're going to provide a counter argument, put a little more effort into it. That is the laziest possible counter and shows you're not even thinking about it.
well i find trials NOT FUN for me
trials should be easy and not to take 40 mins to do when all u want is the ascendancy points there should be a separation between the "farming trails " and trials u do when all u want is the points they are long and annoying .
mostly i just pay some one 1div to get the points and that's it but on a first char of the season its always annoying to do .

I'd rather just pay someone to do them than do them myself because honestly farming the currency to just buy them is more fun than actually doing them.

I like farming Time-Lost Jewels in Sekhemas. I've found that the quality of your relics can really make or break your enjoyment.

Perhaps that area of the trial could use some more tuning. Relic affixes are locked behind certain relic types. The urn/seals are your drop modifiers/supplimental stats, amphora/tapestry have the exclusive Merchant modifiers, coffers/incense I typically don't even bother collecting unless they have a perfect roll
