I spent my time in the game differently, to each his own. I play trade league, where the power of your character and the currency you are able to amass is directly correlated to the speed and power of your build. Meaning, better builds have an advantages, and if you want to be competitive in the economy, as in your purchasing power, you are either pigeonholed into picking the broken builds or doomed to be left behind.

Its kinda true, but not always. I can make more money flipping than best builds out there can do in the best "money strat". During settlers when getting 15div/h was already very good money strat (very few of them were reaching such numbers solo) I was making around 25-30 just farming gold and then using it to flip. This way I could play whatever build I want, doing whatever league mechanic I want and not worry whether its "efficient" or not.

While you are correct that number of challenges doesn't say much. The fact that you have run 1 tier 17 map, zero ubers and hardly any league mechanics above level 81 says that pretty much the only thing you've been doing this last year is run t16 maps. And seeing the number of explicit map mods you've run, you didn't even run all that many especially considering the league lasted a year.

There is very little difference between running t16 maps on a 10 mio dps build and doing it on a 100 mio dps build. In fact, pretty much any dps gain past 100 mio is basically just for bragging rights, it has very little practial relevance even if you aim to do aspirational content, which you obviously aren't. So even if we were to go with the mistaken assumption that having 500 mio dps is a matter of skill gem choice and not of time/currency investment, what exactly is your problem? With how you play the game you'll never compete with people who take it even remotely serios, nevermind the no lifers. It's completely irrelevant for you if skill choice gives others an advantage in the race because you aren't even a participant to begin with.

he's not wrong lightning Strike was complete garbage before it got reworked to modern standards they sho8ld do the same to the many other useless skills instead of nerfing everything until they're bad
