At this point the shaper nodes on the Elementalist trees are so pathetic you might as well just combine them into one node to throw your point away into instead of three wasting space on the ele tree. At least put something fun in their place. These reworked nodes are not fun and you will see that no one is going to pick them.

While you guys are working on the tree. A spell ES leech wheel on the left / top left side of tree would be much appreciated and helpful.

yea, i was really looking forward to have a reason to play witch again
but these ele changes completely killed my enthusiasm for anything spell related this patch

The Warrior's Legacy Unique Ring now only requires half as much distance between you and your previous location in order to permit the spirit strike to occur. This change automatically applies to existing items.


How about you remove the distance altogether so both the new ascendancy node AND this ring are actually viable? Needing to move half an inch vs an inch is still movement required and dps lost when fighting enemies.

The Rhoa variant of the Yriel's Fostering Unique Body Armour now grants Projectile Attacks 100% chance to Maim on Hit while you have a Bestial Minion (previously 20%), and 10-20% increased Attack and Movement Speed while you have a Bestial Minion (previously 10-15%). Existing items can be updated using a Divine Orb.
The Ursa variant of the Yriel's Fostering Unique Body Armour now grants Projectile Attacks 100% chance to inflict Bleeding on Hit while you have a Bestial Minion (previously 20%), and adds 18-24 to 30-36 Physical Damage to Attacks while you have a Bestial Minion (previously 11-16 to 21-25). Existing items can be updated using a Divine Orb.
The Snake variant of the Yriel's Fostering Unique Body Armour now grants Projectile Attacks 100% chance to Poison on Hit while you have a Bestial Minion (previously 20%), and adds 23-31 to 37-47 Chaos Damage to Attacks while you have a Bestial Minion (previously 13-19 to 23-29). Existing items can be updated using a Divine Orb.


How about as a unique feature of these uniques, the Ursa lets all damage from projectile attacks apply bleeding and the Snake lets all damage from projectile attacks apply poison? The Rhoa can either increase damage taken on maimed enemies or increase chance to stun maimed enemies (because its a Rhoa).

@Community_Team Please reconsider the hexblast change...:

1) the 2 second cooldown is way too long...and it makes self-cast unplayable

2) Normally the nerfs to skills are *NUMERICAL* which was what I was expecting ... I am all for nerfs, but completely gutting the skill is just not it...

3) lightning strike + molten strike of the zenith seem to be playable at least???... but hexblast can't? and that's where the line is drawn??? (those 2 skills were played more then hexblast)

4) Is it because it auto targets stuff/ don't have to think when mapping? or is it the freezing ability?... plenty of other archetypes do it such as bows...minions... other spells

5) plenty of other builds could do fine for t16s/stones on a budget like hex blast (it's not like it was the only overpowered skill to do things on a budget)

6) As for sanctums, it wasn't the only skill being used. plenty of clears with: penance brand, shockwave totem, icicle mines, energy blade

7) Is having easy to use builds a bad thing?

... It just feels bad and a bit unfair... + for standard players (Molten strike of the zenith users will be able to play the build still with the mirrored simplexes (not being removed) its OK for them right?... BUT people who love hexblast mines can't play it on standard?...)

... I am all for meta shake ups as well... I like trying each of the archetypes like minions/melee/spells/self-cast, and now recently (mines)

... And I love it. Mines have a great easy to use playstyle... sure its strong, then why not just nerf the dmg of the skill being used with the mines set up instead of nuking it... I really don't understand

Total L balancing. Once again, nerfs 50-100%, buffs 10-20%. Never learn, never learn.

This. But i bet they won't do anything now like usual, and whole f league will again be 2 skills that are mega op compared to others, same thing over and over again.
More stronger and less white pollution screen mobs = heathier game experience.
Will instant skills reset Focused Channelling?

E.g. Winter Orb channelled for 5 seconds using Focused Channelling, use Frostblink to move around, will this reset the damage ramp up from the support gem?

Edit: Precise Channelling doesn't break on Frostblink so I'm assuming Focused Channelling won't either.

Mostly good changes. I wonder though, have you forgotten about assassin? I'm pretty sure assassin currently is in a terrible spot, it has no interesting nodes and seems very outdated. I guess it doesn't go well with a "spell update" but still... can we get some love for assassin? The "only" decent built for assassin being hexblast got nerfed so... please give us some updates for assassin.
