My god, doomers just suck all potential joy from anything online.

If you are hyped for it, good for you. Some people just need way less to be happy. Personally I play this game since closed beta, have seen every expansions and every league, and when you compare it to what we used to get, it just shows they barely worked on PoE even during those 10 months.

Mark did mention in the Q&A that the big changes to the end-game should arrive 3.27 and beyond. He stated that this initial expansion was just Part 1 of a series of updates to overhaul things and he didn't want to change anything too much considering how long it has been.

Yeah man, just damage control for potential outrage. I have faith that his team will knock it out of the park. Literally every time they've made a major overhaul, there's been community pushback. That coupled with it being the first update in a year has potential to make a big PR mess. Imagine the community discourse then, eh? Sheesh.

Leave it to ggg to find some elegant and elaborate way of selling the same ol wine in a new bottle. This company is notorious for giving with one hand and taking back with ten. Add to it these streamers getting all gitty about it again and again just makes me wonder if they are naive or desperate for the content to be good.
