Ban Warning / Optiscaler DLSS/FSR FPS improvement

Has anyone actually been banned using optiscaler?

I wanted to try it out and then bumped into this tread.

What's the status about all of this?

Hopefully they focus on improving performance. I can't play POE2 for more than 2 weeks before my eyes start to hurt from the lag in every map.

I'm using Nvidia Smooth Motion which is also outside of the game (an overlay). It's supposed to double the fps shown ingame (with F1) by inserting AI frames. Works to an extent but nothing can save the frames during breach and abyss. Drops to like 15-20fps no matter the graphics settings.

GGG needs to do something about performance, not even the latest X3d chips can play abysses or equally demanding areas with 40 or more fps with 7900 XTX which is not a bad card lol. This is outrageous

Apparently ggg considers performance improvement to be heresy and is not to be considered or tolerated.

This won't be allowed. Anything that hooks to the game's renderer should probably be banned. If leeway is given, more people will start using these external tools to remove shaders like Atlas/Delirium fog like with ReShade or CE. The game doesn't block ReShade with Vulkan atm. Be warned if you use it and I don't have to warn you if you edit memory via CE because that's just baffling.

Just downloaded the latest Radeon driver that's supposed to have amazing new FSR frame gen updates and it doesn't work in POE or POE2 because it's not using FSR3. I would love to use it, but cannot risk getting my account banned. Please update this. Seems easy enough, because it's just a dll file addition. To make it easier/less risky I'd recommend you if you make it not-default option and put a warning about stability like you used to for Vulkan.
