GGG is so focused on keeping the trade market healthy they don’t allow controlled crafting. The trade system needs to be healthy for what? Why can’t trading be optional to the point that I don’t need it to progress? Not optional to the current point that I can choose to engage with it or fail?
GGG is so focused on gatekeeping too many powerful gear items to prevent people from blasting through content. Why is that a problem in a game where you are supposed to start weak and become godly? Instead they want us to dream about being godly while fighting against a ton of mechanics that stop progression. Trial of Sek and Chaos trials are forced on you to complete if you want to ascend. I love a challenge to feel the sense of accomplishment but these are overtuned unless your build is very strong and optimized to complete the 4th ascendancy. Most people are paying 2divs for someone to complete it for them. IMO it should not be this way. It’s too difficult to progress to level 90+ most of the community is below level 90. I’m not saying make it easy to hit level 90 I’m saying that I should not put 6 hours into the game and can’t move up one level due to game mechanics. I am not trash and playing the game. The game has too many mods to fight against. I’m stuck at level 87 because everytime im close to moving to the next level I end up running a map that has something on it that causes death a few times leading to a huge setback. This game should not be designed in a way mechanics keep you stuck unless you play the meta. This discourages build exploration and diversity. This says that if you don’t play the way I allow you to play to win, then you will not. That’s opposite of what GGG promotes to players. Everyone is praising GGG for improvement of QOL without asking who initially programmed this game like this and thought it was fine? Who is play testing this stuff before release to the public beta that we are in? This game is fun from a combat standpoint but horrible from a progressive standpoint of your character power. Everything holds you back. You have to get lucky to move forward. |

Great mods not gonna lie, i mean - too good. Such upgrades though should be somewhat gatekept by rng or something else, not just by ability to properly slot a rune in a rune slot of any gear... Sorry but what a boring take that is. You guys said workbench was too powerful. How come getting +4 gem levels on double wands for example is weaker? It's 4x times much more powerful then most workbench crafts.

I was quite curious what GGG would consider interesting endgame socket fillers.
I think these fit the bill. The only question now is how easy they will be to aquire. How "endgame" are they? An especially important question for +1 max poisons for instance. |

Some of them sound great, like the poison stuff, but 5% movement speed, +1 to all spells? Sound quite low to me.
(POE2 should not be POE1.5, GGG, keep it slower, more tactical)
