Good lord man, clearly I'm referring to the constant updates that are adding MORE content to the game, in which you are getting for FREE and will get for FREE for the entirety of this games life. I could get into you trying to give me any other game of this scope and quality that provides a lifetime of FREE updates that you can get for a mere $30, but that is an entirely different argument.

The ones mad here are the type to claim you don't need oxygen to breathe while suffocating in front of you, and I could be there with an oxygen tank trying to hand it to you and you'd still refuse simply to hold onto your very weak and misguided(and generally childish) rationale.

I shouldn't have to spell this out like I'm speaking to toddlers, that you did indeed sign up for early access. There will be lots of changes, tweaks, and learning experiences on both sides that will in time get the game to where it needs to be. GGG requires lots of data before making sweeping changes, this is not D4 where they throw darts at a board every league and guess at what will work.

Constantly lashing out and being angry over EVERY little thing solves nothing. Form a constructive and well thought out alternative to exact things with logical changes that amount to more than you just hurling childish insults at GGG or demanding things be a certain way simply because YOU don't like something. We all understand you want this to be PoE1 with a facelift, but at some point you need to accept they are not the same game. If you don't like it how it is currently, spend your time doing something you actually find worthwhile and check back at a later date when they've done more work.

The fact we're still missing half the acts, classes, skills, item bases etc etc and you all think things won't change between now and then is insane thinking. These things take time, it takes effort. This company has done nothing but show it cares about it's game and it's players for over a decade, so why you all feel the need to grab your pitchforks for every single thing is really just obscene. I mean you're on a post that is adding things to the game, in a patch that is adding even more stuff mid-league, and you're mad at it. I just don't get it.

Any chance you guys can look into Mana Costs then?

You've clearly pushed for an extra gem level meta with all the affixes on gear, now we also have extra levels from socketables.

It's gonna be absolutely unsustainable, and the current mana flask spam already isn't that much fun.

GGG keeps removing spirit of poe from poe2 by making every possible choice player can meke predermined. We have to learn a lot about game just to find that there is no choice and all of complexity is fake. I do like though that you hide player power in every league mechanic, I just hate that it's so strait forward boring design of player power.

Epic, this game is an addiction waiting to happen. With all these updates it's like the quality just keeps improving. GGG is crafting a diamond right before our eyes. Great stuff.

It's rather clear, people are not upset that they are adding new socketables; They are upset that development time is being spent on inconsequential things like this, when the game has multiple for more pressing gaping holes to fill.

You want to talk about disrespect? We paid for a game that has been unplayable since the Hunt patch, due to unplayable EU servers, without a single comment from GGG on the matter.. start there.


No, we paid for a skeleton and are getting mad theyre putting meat and veins in it instead of skin. It'll come in time geez

D4 has 193k players atm, so roughly 8x more than poe 2......take off the love glasses bro

Hi Jonathan and GGG team,

I wasn’t sure where the best place to share suggestions was, but I wanted to propose an idea regarding item identification in endgame maps for Path of Exile 2.

As someone with over 800 hours of gameplay, one of the more tedious aspects of mapping, especially with strict loot filters and high quantity/rarity maps, is having to pick up several rare items, use Scrolls of Wisdom to identify them, check their rolls, and then drop most of them — only to repeat the process. It’s especially frustrating when you’re sifting through multiple low-tier chest pieces or items with poor stat rolls. Over time, this really adds up and breaks the flow of gameplay.

I really enjoy how Last Epoch allows you to quickly hover over items for immediate info — it’s seamless and efficient. I wonder if POE 2 could explore something similar or perhaps introduce a mechanic that reduces the friction. A few potential ideas:

An optional item (like an omen or flask modifier) that automatically identifies drops.

A pet or companion that helps identify gear on the fly with a quick interaction (e.g., ctrl + click).

Or even a late-game passive or atlas keystone that removes the need for item identification entirely.

I think this kind of QoL feature would help a lot with pacing and feel much more fluid during extended mapping sessions.

Control Click Doryani in your hideout. He will identify your entire inventory. You can do the same with sin during the campaign
