They said in an interview before 3.25 that Betrayal is getting a rework of some sort but wasn't ready for 3.25 and it would be in 3.26. Now since it's been a whole year surely it'll be in 3.26.

Compared with betrayal, TOTA back could be far better.


I want TOTA back too, but the problem with TOTA was that if you wanted to go further into the ranks, you needed a specific character that couldn't do anything but TOTA (evasion cap, spell dodge, block cap etc).

Does it sound like something that they'd bring back? Not in that form, no. It could be toned down to a degree where normal builds could do it and not require specific builds to run and actually compete there for any sort of reward.

You are not alone my friend. WASD-movement nor POE2's end game progression-system is something I would like to see implemented into POE1. I hope we get to keep the game as is and keep the two games separated. The two games have different feel to them and offer different goals, and that is okay. I can't stress that enough - THAT IS OKAY!

I just hope POE1, the game I've learned to love since 2012 can keep it's core and its soul. I would love nothing more.

Exactly. The mechanic is good and fun, the rewards are useful and valuable. But it need to be changed someway to be playable for normal builds, rather than more tanky than uber bosses and 1 shot everyone, including the extremely tanky ones.
I would propose for those complaining about pause being added to poe that ggg should make a separate client for those players where such qol is permanently turned off and they can only use that client. We already know that ggg has separate clients out there, what is one or 2 more :)
