EA will be free to play in June as planned??

september ~ november of 2026 is what i'm expecting for the launch of 1.0

With this 0.3 release it seems it wont even happen this year. Seems like 2027.

I think June 2026 might be optimistic at this point. Just think they've kind of got a pattern at this point. So maybe 0.4 they add another class and some ascendancies. So you figure out how many even number patches which will be like 8 months apart at the current pacing it will take to add in the rest of the classes and ascendancies...

Perhaps a new class should have been revealed in 0.3? If they could only in a cycle of months to bring just abyssal, then definitely they won't be ready by 2026 as you are saying.

By February 2026, they will bring another act, and let's assume they bring a class.

By June 2026, they will bring the last act, but we can't guarantee the entire roster of classes will be ready.



Note, they might need to nerf stuff and work on side issues that might pop up anytime in any league, either POE 1 or POE 2.

Pretty wild that when the game finally release, the game would have been development for 9 years, maybe even longer.

I think there is definitely some Missmanagement/dev hell going on. Maybe due to lack of management experience. The first game launched I think with only 3 acts and end game was open maps (of different tiers). It was build over time as live service, with Dedicated fanbase supporting them as an Indie starter.

People have FAR higher expectation for the sequel, and maybe the expectation was too imploded.

In any case, with the game suppose launch in mid 2026 or later, I think the game will be in a solid stage.
