Upcoming Plans for Patch 0.2.1

I will say this as many times as I need to for it to be heard:

Jonathan needs to step down. His "die-hard" mentality and his resilience towards critical and dire input from the player base playtesting the open beta is mind boggling. I mean this with the utmost respect of course; clearly I would not be able to withhold nor endure the tremendous amount of work and responsibilities he does day to day. But enough is enough. The discourse between representatives of the player base and those of GGG have turned bitter due to promises not being upheld and due to worries and woes being neglected, ignored and oftentimes doubled down on. I once believed GGG was the sole saviour of this genre. Without a doubt I have spent over 15k hours on PoE 1 and I do not regret any of it. My loyalty, my trust and my funding should be met with thankfulness and compassion. But instead I get slapped across the face and then more is demanded from me. When did our relationship turn this toxic? I can't remember but now it feels like GGG sees us a bunch of illiterate, stupid, incompetent toddlers who are obnoxiously loud and annoying. And only when our cries get too loud they will give us one fraction of a sweet treat so we shut our filthy gobs up again, only for the cycle to repeat.

This is atrocious. The entire situation is ridiculous. Something within GGG has changed ever since Chris left and it truly truly shows.

I often find myself asking: Who is GGG making their game for?

For themselves? For pursuing their backward-minded "Vision"? For whom is PoE 2 being developed?! Clearly its us right? Its for the player base right? It should be for us, no? Then why does it feel like I am forced to play a game that is evidently not for me at all? In the end who is keeping this company alive? God? A higher power? No, obviously not. It is us, we, the players, keep you guys alive. It is our money that puts food on your table. It is our money that fills your fridge, it is our money that facilitates your vacations, our money that pays your employees wages.

So this game should be for us, no? It should respect the hand that feeds you, no?

Why then is it, that we are made to feel like mute rats. Like a pest, as if we're an infestation of bugs, annoying you lot at GGG with our constant buzzing. Are we just filth to you? Are we meaningless?

Its been like this for too long. I feel like a wet cold dog that has been left in the rain because I asked my owner for one treat too many, apparently.

Heartbreaking. Truly, truly heartbreaking. To see the game I once cherished so much, turn into an abomination unresembling of the glorious original it had been ...

What a terrible day for rain.

Players: We dont want the two games to interfere with each others development

Players: Omg please stop working on Poe2 so close to the launch of a Poe1 league!!!!!

GGG stopped updating POE1 for 300 days, and put all its manpower into a game called POE2 that is full of problems and errors. These problems were already solved in POE1 years ago. At the same time, it kept lying and overturning its previous promises. So is it too much to ask for players to return all manpower to POE1 for a few months?

Besides, the current game content of POE2 is so bad, the endgame is still shit, there is no crafting system, the sublimation is quite boring without enough changes, and 90% of legendary equipment and auxiliary skills are still not used by anyone. However, these bad contents have caused a season game that is already quite complete and has a large group of core players (not many, about 300,000 XD) to have no new season for 300 days. Many times, I feel that POE2 fans are leading GGG as a company on the wrong path.
Arrogance is over. POE 2 has begun.
This looks good. I will come back for more when this patch drops.

Nobody wants bloated info with 7/15 tiers or what not, it's much better to just look at the item, find a few tier 3-1 mods and know that you have something worth crafting on or sell...

Look it's at most 4 extra characters, barely would consider this bloat. Honestly not that big of a deal compared to the usual on-screen chaos of ARPGs. 7/15 was an example, could be 3/5 3/3 (assuming lower number is stronger tier). I'm not against the reversing of the affixes, I think its a bit odd to go against the order of other things in the game but it is what it is. I just don't think it solves the problems of players wanting to have informative UI, it could even be a toggle in the Interface settings.

This is some pathological stuff right here.
niceeeeeeeeeeeeee <3
It is good to see the slow realization that everything you deliberately changed away from PoE was a bad mistake.

This time, affix tiering. Next time, damage over time ailments?
It's worth noting that +2 maps are a dangerous thing.
They can cause players to get out of their depth -
playing maps that are too hard for the items they currently have. Herp Derp.

Good but for the love of god just do a quick balancing pass and buff some skills.
Servers...network spikes...
you can make ALL the PERFECT adjustmentS, if, for so many players, the game is not playble.
