I have never posted a forum post but these events are so bad I have to get it off my chest.

After the blowback from the last event I thought you’d learn your lesson about alienation the VAST majority of players, but I was obviously wrong. Thing is, I’m not against this style of event, but the execution is terrible. Why are you holding an event where the majority wouldn’t get ANYTHING for it and won’t play (not to mention the time dedication required to participate).

You could so easily fix this by just having some small prizes for participation, like a portrait icon or something, and some small prizes for finishing within the race time (no matter the ranking), like a weapon skin or something… it’s not that hard like come ON

This event makes no sense. It serves no purpose and, frankly, it's an insult to 99.99% of your player base.

Your game, despite its undeniable strengths, is broken, painfully boring, and wildly unbalanced—especially the servers.

You're organizing a race for a handful of players where we’ll inevitably see the same strength-stacking build over and over again.
Instead of this nonsense, you should focus on the real issues:

Why has the player base dropped so drastically?

Why isn’t the game fun anymore?

Why are your servers struggling so much?

Why is the in-game economy reminiscent of the Perestroika era—chaotic and dysfunctional?

Why is crafting still missing in action?

Why do 90% of your players consistently ask for logical, intelligent improvements, yet you always seem to miss the point?

Why have console players’ issues been completely ignored?

Why is the player-to-player trading system still exhausting and completely broken?

And the list goes on...

Wake up. Stop tailoring your development choices to the 0.01% of streamers.
Understand what early access really means: adapting, testing, and being willing to flip the table if needed to deliver real improvements—with your community, not in spite of it.

Legit another data collected to nerf next season. Should rename the title from Dawn of the Hunt to Dawn of the Nerf instead.

Why play an event where only 7 players will get something? I think all events should be able to reward all players upon completion at least... I understand that there should be a reward for the top players, but if there's no prize for participating, why take part? Most of us already know we’re not going to win. I love leveling characters but don't want to play this "thing"

Yeah cool, now that you're done trying to get people back into your failed experiment with pond scum tier rewards and desperate Twitch tie-ins, can we get an update on the actual good game that made you famous? The one you've can neglecting for a year and a half? Because your few remaining fans are losing hope.

Games that only smart people can enjoy are destined to not be recognized by the public, but I will recognize you, Mr. Jonathan

is it that hard to make a race?
super rare reward - ok
obviously professionals will get it.
But what should the rest do? - just watch?
what will increase interest in 2 things:
1) participate yourself
2) support your favorite pro speedrunner
?
obviously small prizes for participation in any form.
top 100/1000 or just a time requirement (3/6 acts in 5/10 hours) I believe that most people complete acts in more than 20 hours)). for competition of course the time should be less.

All this will create local hype. will show that the game is alive between leagues. videos, content, clips, online, reddit, posts,competitions with friends etc.

BUT GGG's paths are completely illogical for me, the last couple of years. and this has become most acute after EA of POE2.
Sorry, but your work for 6 months does not cause me anything except hate(complete misunderstanding between GGG and the players.) and this -->
