Not going to participate in race event which is not designed for sane exiles who value their free time and looking for meaningful experience.

Why not making some kind of pvp instance invasion race event for each of time zones for about 1-3 hours long? Would cause to much fun and become mortal sin cuz of that? You lost perspective on what could be fun for community.

This trash race event is joke.

Maybe instead of events you will fix the already broken mechanics? Well, I don't know, for example: dodge roll, so that it does not stop at every vase or mob without the possibility of further maneuvering, reduce the speed of mobs by 20-40%, remove the priority for special attacks like jumps or one-shot attacks for each mob when the smallest pixel of its texture gets into the player's visibility zone, remove the annoying spawning of mobs into the player when opening a ritual/mirrors/strongboxes? No, the race is more important? Okay, you know better.

Make it Hardcore, so much more exciting to watch

GGG please, announce big content quickly.

I been thinking about this... and the only logical conclusion i can come to is this.

GGG is using this race to basically give the middle bird to the chant coming from the 'Slog Fest' chanters.

Someone will ofc win this race in astonishing time, and GGG (and others) will use this to examplify why the game is NOT a slog in the slightest. Basically its going to reveal that 99.9% just need to git gud.

Why repeat the exact same race? It didn't exactly do well last time. Most people skipped it and skipped watching it. It is also very questionable what kind of data you can extract from such a race. Sure, you might find the fastest 2-3 builds to get through first acts but this doesn't tell anything about the performance after that point. What is then the remaining reason for running it?
