The game doesnt teach you to how play the game
" This is not a nitpick at all, 90% of the skills are tied to a weapon type, so it doesn't make much sense to say that "you play a skill gem first" It's true that ascendancies work well with the class base weapon, but it also creates confusion to new players like the difference between classes and ascendancies, and there's weapon type on top of that My character is a mercenary tactician who uses quarterstaffs, but at first glance a lot of people will think i'm playing a monk, you see what the problem is? Weapon types are too strongly associated with classes, but the class (monk) is not that important, the actual important thing is the ascendancy To make it simple i just wish it was easier to tell these things at glance, and i don't think it's intuitive rn |

OH man, this game literally holds your hand, explains everything, and has information on every keyword on gems/skills/items/stats...
POE 1 does literally none of that. You had to google every single stat to know what it is and what it does and how it effects you. Your take is crazy, this game essentially chews your food for you and only asks you to bother swallowing yourself. |
