Secret quest Cue Final Letter.
It's your attitude, and it seems like you are not getting the hints either.

" Let’s compare attitudes shall we? I’ll ask you again, who decided you were in charge? My attitude is none of your business. [Removed by Support] You all want to be equal to me, but you have no idea the gift/curse it is to be this knowledgeable. [Removed by Support] I don’t have to worry about being liked. I’m not here to be liked. If im liked by the masses it means I must be talking at their IQ level. It’s funny how I’m willing to put aside differences and work on something with others and others won’t put aside differences to work on something together and I’m the problem? [Removed by Support] Where I believe yall got it twisted is that you think I owe you something when I’ve been the only voice putting in work on this topic, anything you think I owe you I’ve paid out in spades. " I’m sure you guys can find someone else who has solved The Fountain Of Youth, The invisible College, D.B.Cooper, game of thrones, one piece, and other great mysteries. It’s not like people like me are incredibly rare. | |
" You assumed the letter in this quest having a different recipient because you didn't pay enough attention to the quest dialogue to realize it was written vaguely in order to not get the recipient killed. I mean, thanks for making look up the quest on the wiki and find out that other NPCs on the caravan had responses to the letter. Both realize the letter goes to the quest giver. One gives you a not-so-subtle hint to give it to them, the other basically says that if the letter weren't so vague, she'd have to execute the quest giver. In a thread about a PoE 2 cinematic (video link here), you walk back a claim of "I predicted the contents of an unreleased video" to "I guessed something that was in a video released before Early Access started based on content that was in the game". The prediction was "Count Geonor bound The Hooded One to the tree with the Sword of Agnar". Which...isn't that much of a prediction, when the quest dialogue straight-up says "Only the Count's sword has the power to bind souls to the Tree like this". In that thread, you talk about reading comprehension, despite not showing it. You refer to Count Geonor as "an unknown NPC". You refer to some average schmuck who gets unceremoniously deleted seconds after the binding as "the player character". You claim the area was corrupted before the Hooded One was bound, despite the video showing the Corruption being unleashed. Monsters merely existing is not "corruption". Count Geonor took the sphere with the Corruption sealed inside from the Hooded One, handed it to the rookie, and had the rookie open it--then killed the rookie so the Corruption could feed on his corpse. The cinematic ends with Count Geonor carrying the monstrosity away from the woods in a cart...and pieces falling out of the cart, which proceed to spread the Corruption. It seems like you referred to the cinematic as an alternate ending to Act 1. If that's the alternate ending, then that's a short story, because we're already dead. Connecting the early quest items to the legend of Excalibur was nice, but as you said....you know about "real life" lore, and whether it's intentional or not, ignore game lore--which causes you to draw a lot of faulty conclusions about the story. You also refused to concede that the unique Dagger that some people obtained might have just been items unintentionally being available when they shouldn't have been, as it was with the unique Trap people obtained. And let's not forget the part where you were so sure that the Rhoa Mount skill was part of a secret quest. " If you want people to work with you, you need an approach that will encourage them to. But it seems that "people" are one puzzle you haven't been able to solve. Since fixing your attitude is non-negotiable, and you still want people to do the legwork while you exist as "the idea guy"...you're going to have to pay people for their time. |

Incorrect.
I assumed the letter is related because the only relative items to a secret quest that would be usable are the side quest items and obviously consumables like weapons or armor or such. I guess also main quest chain items could be used in an alternative fashion as well… Out of all the possible items in game that could be secret quest items, the ones most likely are the ones dubbed quest items by the devs. Why is the winter wolf skull a quest item. How does it progress the story. Read what the devs define a quest item as. All you have to do is click one button, don’t be lazy. Have you come up with an explanation for why there are two secrets in the dark quest files? I’d love to hear you explain it, clearly you think you are more knowledgeable than I am in this field of expertise. Despite me being able to tell you where the invisible college is and where the fountain of youth is, which you must have huge belief in your abilities. Because I haven’t ever heard of another human who can tell you either. Anyway, now that I’m off probation I can finally respond to your nonsense. It isn’t my job to be agreeable with people. I came here to unravel a secret, not to be loved. People are so use to people wanting to be liked that’s all they expect. I am secure with who I am. How you feel about me is your own decision. I’m not afraid of being wrong, there’s enough hard data that says im right enough. What is required isn’t to bend over backwards for you. I’ve already done that by doing all the work I have on this and reporting it openly to everyone. Somewhere along the lines people forgot that a secret quest is suppose to be a community endeavor. I wasn’t one of the people who forgot. I am different than most of you, which gives us an advantage. What you see as a disadvantage is your best hope. The irony of this situation is immense. " “Quest items are used to progress the story. They cannot be sold or stashed, but can be discarded. Discarded quest items can be reobtained from their original source”. Weird how does 10% elemental res or 50 life or 2 skill points progress the story? Weird…. It’s kinda common sense but I guess common sense isn’t common anymore. Also: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/History_of_Wraeclast Now the clocks ticking on this secret quest because I’m going to read all that and prove you wrong ✌️ I’ll never explain what to do beyond what I’ve already said.
