Got my first probation in 12 years just 2 weeks ago, climate is rough these days.

Careful now. "Confirmed" is a grownup word, don't use it too lightly. If we are/were to hold GGG to everything they've "confirmed" the same way they "confirmed" a June release, we'd be looking at a completely different PoE1 now.
They clearly have problems making plans and sticking to those plans, especially the last years or two, so EVERYTHING can happen.
Lets rather speculate in something way more productive; anyone have a joke?

Ahah, went through the same wondering. My guess would be the issue was the story of an elbow, equiped for a dump, ahah
I found it kinda funny and harmless, but looks like some ppl didn't like it. Oh well :D

if you get posts removed or edited by mods enough times you'll get probation no matter how small the offense was or even if there was no offense and mods just used the "needlessly negative comments" rule willy-nilly

Basically yeah. In my case my message got deleted with the reason given "being hateful / needlessly negative".
I then reposted the same context, but in different words and it got deleted again with a probation on my account.
Turned out later the reason was a completely different one, but that's not the point.
He probably reposted something that got deleted before and thus got the probation.

Ahh yes, I've felt the "needlessly negative" whip crack as well. Good to know it's based on strikes. That means I'm rather close to probation myself.

That was before everything went to sh... with 0.2 release. Try August.
