It has indeed. Devs added a whole area with presence radius nodes in Merc/Warrior class and that solves a lot of problems.

That... does nearly nothing, unfortunately. Dex Str characters being able to spend skill points to reach a 5 or 6m radius only gives melee a slight quality of life option. Ranged characters, summoners and co-op still need way more than that.

Agree 100%. My favorite build in POE1 was aura/minion build, but now it's just minion build as the minions are never in my presence.

If it was nerfed so facilitate a spear mechanic that works off enemies entering/leaving presence, just add some items/nodes that reduce presence area and/or radius.

Could we cough get a last minute cough presence buff GGG?

FFS I just wanna play minions without half my build being disabled from them walking too far away from me.

Also, aside from making buffs more reliable, increasing presence doesn't do anything. When you get nodes that increase the area of your presence, that takes away from points that could otherwise be spent increasing raw damage, and the node clumps that increase presence area are so spread out, that it requires a massive attribute node investment to reach, which nerfs your character even further.

100%. There are so many scaling factors that changed from poe1 to poe2 that auras can never reach the stupid levels they could in the first game.
