[Smooth Group Found GSF Idols + Kalandra Private League Starting May 1st, 2025 @ 3:00 PM PDT

Now that all the league and template information is available, we're excited to share our plans for the GSF private leagues throughout May!

We've spent a lot of time discussing the best possible setups, and here’s what we’ve decided:

📅 League Schedule:

Weeks 1–2: GSF Settlers + Idols + Kalandra League

Week 3: SGF Second Private League (TBA) + BPL

Week 4: SGF Third Private League (TBA)

We're kicking things off with a full-blown GSF league, based on the Settlers template, featuring both Phrecia Idols and the Kalandra league mechanic.

When exploring idol-compatible options, we narrowed it down to two viable setups:

Settlers + Idols

Settlers + Idols + Kalandra

After extensive community discussion, we concluded that including Kalandra adds valuable gameplay with minimal downside—only slightly impacting the extreme end of high-end juicing. So we're starting May with this combination.

💡 Week 3 and Beyond

Since the BPL is running in Week 3, we’ll be launching a second private league for anyone not participating in BPL. Depending on interest, we may also launch a third league in Week 4.

While nothing past the first league is finalized yet, we definitely want at least one league this month to include the new ascendancies. Unfortunately, GGG didn’t allow us to run both Idols and new Ascendancies in the same league, so we had to choose.

📌 A Note on Duration

The GSF Idol League will run for the entire month of May, giving everyone ample time to explore and engage with the idol system—even if they decide to join other leagues along the way.

For those unaware of SGF, we are a community of POE players that enjoy playing POE in a GSF environment (Group Self Found). What this means is we share resources and work together to help everyone push their builds and achieve there goals.

We run many leagues - somewhere around 15 in Settlers alone, and most of our leagues have anywhere from 100 to 1000 players.
