Despite the nerfs, endgame is still way too easy.

Another one making up their own meaning behind my comment lmao.

In my opinion almost every single skill needs a massive buff and loot needs a massive overhaul. Current game state is terrible
So to counter your post here. Though I personally HATE where the game is right now, it is fine where it is. Every single link that you posted showed people taking down random map bosses. Map bosses inherently are NOT difficult. Assuming you invested the tiniest amount of your time to test and make a build.

Now if the videos you poste showed 1 tapping T4 pinnacle bosses... THEN I can agree with you.

What this last patch really did was kill all build diversity outside of Chaos DoT and anything from the Huntress. Now someone is going to reply to me and say something like, "well I'm doing this build and not using anything from the Huntress, and I am having a blast." Good for you. I happy for you, have you fought any of the T4 pinnacle bosses yet with said build? No? Then you can sit down until you have.
Overall I do believe PoE2 is in a worse place than it was pre- Dawn of the Hunt. And this is coming from a player that had 5 builds that were endgame viable and could indeed take on the pinnacle bosses. Not all of them could simply delete them in seconds flat BUT they could still do it. Now only one of them can even remotely handle the pinnacle bosses and this is after days of tweaking the build so that it WORKED somewhat again. All in all. I honestly feel like I hit a burnout point and think I'll just wait till release. Sure the game is still in Early Access and I expected thigns to change but I didn't expect for all builds to be nuked into a non-playable state, and now I feel like I do with Battle Royale games. Put all the work and effort into the game to get shot and sent to the main menu for zero gain. There is literally no reward atm for the effort being put in and that is a problem.
I know Jonathan said that they didn't nerf certain things. Like when he mentioned how they didn't nerf the campaign. You're right. You didn't. But you nuked everything in the game that was functional. Therefore you nerfed the campaign. So it is not a campaign fix that needs to happen. It's a rework to how skills work that needs a rework. And what I think most of us players want is less denying effects or prerequisites on skills. All these skills that says it does something cool if it consumes shocks but it cannot shock itself. Not to mention a LOT of skills requiring certain weapon types when they totally should be universal skills. Examples being any of the PALM skills. Require a quarterstaff to function, when they dont even USE quarterstaffs. And then there are skills that just don't seem to be finished. Example being Whirling Assault under the quarterstaff. It is hyper clunky, locked into its animation which CANNOT be sped up by attack speed, cast speed, or skill speed. AND the effects from quality don't even work. The skill itself literally only states:

Advance while hitting enemies around you with a series of spinning Strikes.
+1.4 seconds to Total Attack Time
Additional Effects From Quality:
(0-15)% more Attack Speed

Nothing else.
The "advance" part while hitting enemies is a joke there is no advancing. You barely move anywhere and its clunky to use.
Now if attack speed affected it at all, like maybe it attacks multiple times in that 1.4 second animation lock. OR if that attack time just simply didn't lock you into an uncontrollable twirl.
I think my biggest gripe about this skill is the fact that it is a Level 11 Skill Gem skill. WHY?!! There is no redeeming quality as to why it is placed so high in the quarterstaff list. It would have been better if it were swapped out with Killing Palm. At least Killing Palm has a functional use...
I came up with the idea to make a demonform build that used Hand of Chayula, shattering palm, Plague Bearer, and Herald of Plague.

Thought it would be a cool thematic demon using Chayula like a cursed demon touch and spreading poisons and plagues all over the place.

Can you tell me why this build idea is impossible? If you think it's not, try it.

Crown of Eyes seems like it would be a great place to start with the build concept.

Maybe add a "cast on" spell to make use of the +6 spell skills and spell damage.

Cast speed is wasted no matter what though.

Also, there's a difference between a build that works and a "viable" build. If your goal is to farm for currency and drops a build that clears a map in 45 minutes without dying technically works, but isn't viable for your goal of profit. Inflation will outrun your ability to get currency if you don't have a build capable of speed farming and doing boss runs.

You can't both slow an ARPG down and lower drop rates while making the game economy dependent and expect anyone other than the traders to like the game.

You can make all the elitist "I'm awesome cause I don't complain and you suck 'cause you do" posts you like, but at the end of the day you're not going to have anyone to trade with when everyone goes to play LE instead.

Nerfing everything isn't the way to improve diversity and build creativity. See the above example. The build is literally impossible because of all the restrictions they put on it trying to make sure it can't be OP.
I love when my build gets nerfed. Just means a new challenge where I get to experiment with different tools. I really hope POE 2 doesn’t turn into a loot bomb turbo speed dopamine machine ARPG like D4 and LE. No challenge so everything feels pointless. Way too many items, all loot is good, crafting is guaranteed, and a million single button builds that crush everything. It’s pointless. Much prefer the pacing of D2 which POE 2 is fairly close to. I have faith GGG will steer this in the right direction and ignore all the whiners that just want to mindlessly blast through the game. The campaign wasn’t even that hard with the biggest hurdle being the Normal Act 2 boss. After that, it was smooth and now every subsequent run will be very fast with the uniques and gear I have to toss on new characters. Only the first run is slower so the complaints about it taking too much time is ridiculous. First play through in a new league SHOULD be a challenge. It’s what makes the leaderboard race worth it.
too easy ? you know how much times it needs to get at this point ? the prices of the items ?. thanks god you can do that and yet, stiII it's painfuII
Clearly perfect strike and hammer of the gods was the real problem so those had to be nerfed.
Majority of warriors still walk around and just mace strike things with cultist greatclub, because everything else in their kit is just trash in comparison.

Meanwhile theres these cheese builds that autoclear screens and oneshot bosses, but no, surely a 3 second single target attack was the real problem.
