I love the game, but im leaving for now - main reason, simple one
" If literally "heavy busting up the screen" exists and that's the pinnacle of an End Game that farms the most currency then as a try hard gamer myself my inherent impression of this game with mechanics like this existing feels terrible. I don't want to feel heavily disenfranchised from the top % of players because to me that's no type of community shared partnerships and struggle. Additionally I just want the game to be cool in the sense of more practical fantasy human mechanics. I prefer subtle and dignified "Lord of the Rings Gandalf is a god" over "I linked 5 gems and 5 passives + 2 uniques to proc this certain spell to infinite amounts and that's so cool bruuuhh (Keanu Reeves young Bill & Ted voice)" any day! |

" Spoiler alert : The faster you go, the more monsters you kill per hour and the more you loot. It won't change from one game to the next. The problem will remain the same no matter what game you play. You'll always find players who play more than you, or who go faster and overtake you. Otherwise, you can always play SSF, as many do. And apparently, they have no trouble completing the endgame and enjoy playing... But I understand your point. Personally, I'm always a bit frustrated at the start of a league because I work during the week and I find myself overtaken during the first few days by people who invest 10-15 hours a day in the new league. However, I always end up with 40/40 challenges, my magebloog and my headhunter and 3/4 builds that I like. |
