Suggestion - Rework the Temporal Chains map debuff
90 percent of all maps get temporal chains put on it and it immediately makes the map completely useless. It's a VIRUS

I like how people complained a lot that the pacing of the game was too slow in 0.1, and in response GGG more than doubled the potency of the temp chain map mod.

I totally agree. I've had some great, great fun again with PoE2 on my vacation, and been having a blast with maps and gearing. Great fun, great game.
But... then I get a Waystone, put some stuff on it, and there is Temporal Chains. And then that Waystone is more or less an extreme lowroll. It is not so much because of the fact that it's a debuff, and a hard one. I do like challenging games, but Temporal Chains doesn't provide any feel of a real challenge. 90% of the time it just slows the game for you, and makes you feel like the char that you've spend hours optimizing, is being gutted. It is just not a fun debuff (fun, as it gives you a challenge). It is actually the quite opposite, and sucks the fun out of a map. I don't know what should fix it. Perhaps the minions hitting is the best way to go, or at least not making it pop so often, last for a shorter time, make the circle smaller. I dno. My best idea currently is to just drop it... |

I suggest reverting all Curses to their previous iteration. The constant ground casting is annoying terrain clutter.

I personally think Temporal Chains just needs to be removed.
The moment I see Temporal Chains on a waystone I consider the waystone to be dead and just discard it. It is the only thing on a waystone that I refuse to do because I don't consider it fun. That doesn't mean I don't like a challenge because I literally am happy to play any other suffix on a waystone, but temporal chains is simply unfun and I play the game to have fun. PoE is all about making progress and figuring out fun/efficient ways to do it.
Temporal chains maps basically have a debuff to progression itself. "Beidat honored the pact, though Mancy wouldn't take off Doryani’s prototype."

Yeah, it seems a bit overtuned last time I was in maps. And I feel like I've definitely noticed devs tweak values to various aspects of the game w/o announcing changes. I think Temporal Chains as a map mod is better as a curse than map-wide effect. I just think it activates a smidge (2-8%?) too fast and appears a bit (10-20%) too often. The duration/effect need to come down a small chunk (20-35%?) tho. I don't want it neutered, just reigned in a bit to make it feel like it contributes to the gameplay and not just a void of suckage.
