Warrior sucks more than Release

We need the Armour fix very soon, remove the movement penalty on shield and body armorand give the warrior some attackspeed or less attack animation.

For example.
I jump in and dont kill enemies, i have to roll out, because Armour doesnt work and white mobs hit like a truck.
In addition to that, they hit me with some debuffs and i am rolling on the same spot where i land.


The warrior is slow, yes we know!
Please buff the melee builds/classes

It is totally worthless to put some points in attackspeed nodes.
There are plenty movement/attackspeed debuffs in this game, which hit so hard.

I have both evasion and ES, why you're just talking about armor for?

Shield is the reason people can enjoy hardcore, so it definitely works at securing loss which is mighty but ye, lets consider removing all penalties for that...

You know you can take another skill from another class right to counter the lack of mobility/cc factor but of course Warrior needs to be only Strength or god knows of pride levels.

i dont hate my self enough to play with warrior.
You need block with warrior.

Armour is not enough to carry you unless you are really good at dodge rolling.

Somehow warriors appear to have gotten even slower. If I am going to be as slow as a rock then I need at least to be as tough as a rock. Warriors should be the king of defense to compensate for slowness, weak offense, and melee range. But currently even without Grim Feast, Energy Shield is still the king of defense. Any character that is not using ES is going to get one-shotted on a regular basis. Second best defense is mana takes damage. Armor/Life is literal the worst defense in the game as armor scales poorly and life is hard to get anywhere near as high as ES or Mana.
i've never felt tankier as a warrior in poe2. i stand in pinnacle boss mechanics and they do like 20-30% of my life, the only thing that can kill me on bosses are the one shot mechanics on arbiter... which i can dodge easy.

maybe the problem isn't the warrior. maybe p.e.b.k.a.c.

I find that hard to believe and does not match my experience. I got 4.7k hp, high armor, block 75%, elemental resist 78%-80%, chaos 75% and I still have to be pretty careful. Maybe I can push my hp a little higher and my armor a little higher but not much.

It is still my favorite character to play as the combat is more dynamic than any of my ranged builds even though the range builds can do pretty much all content quicker and safer.

i'd recommend looking up carnarius' leap slam smith build, dual weilding 2h maces and destroying entire maps. extremely tanky and don't have to use a shield... not sure what to tell ya.. smith feels better than titan and warbringer ever did for me. last league i took titan and warbringer to ~86ish each.

Titan was stampeded
warbringer was shout

so far this league i'm up to 92 smith and having a blast playing leap slam for clear and perfect strike for boss kills.

i've unlocked every atlas point, cleared all 4 uber bosses up to tier 3 or 4 each including simulacrum, face tanking everything and not having to do any mechanics, i've done tier 0 arbiter, havn't found enough citadels to do more.

Build almost feels too strong with how tanky it is, but i don't mind ;)

I am basing my experience on my Titan in standard but with the new content. I am working on a tactician and amazon in the new league. I probably should try a Smith since I do like the melee play style. Was trying classes I have not played for new league. I am going to take your advice as you have leveled three warriors so seem to be a warrior fan also.
nice, enjoy. smith is very well designed in my opinion. the only problem i had was simulacrum, had to get creative with leaping around a bit to complete it in the later waves.
