" I would agree, but not with this meta. For SSF that would be a bless, but for economy it would be like 0.1 after week or two. There is to small diversity of builds. so edit point 2. If you double drops, prices adapts to new drops. More and cheaper crafting currency makes meta crafting cheaper and more accessible. But we have like 1-2 meta builds, so crafters only craft on one weapon armour base. In a week market is flooded with ok meta gear. Selling soemthing that isnt BiS will be very hard as market will be flooded. And in the end you will only be able to earn some currency by currency drops, or droping meta uniques or change bases. Game is just in bad state, no drops feels not rewarding, buffing drops will ruin economy in days. |

The main issue with this patch for me (which isn’t spoken about enough) is the target farming part of the endgame.
It’s not the lack of divine orb drops etc When you look at what there was to do in 0.1 Ritual had the omens and audience with the king to grind for (and the pinnacle boss for the diamond and belt). They all had massive value and were worth the grind. They nuked the belt and the diamond and now the audience is about 40ex Breach had the splinters / rings to grind and the pinnacle boss for the HOWA gloves / breach rings etc. Breachstones are now worthless because they nuked the HOWA gloves. Similacrum had the mana flask which they nuked and so farming this is pointless (not to mention mirrors are STILL broken, so the passives are fucked Trial of Sekhemas was a great grind. You had plenty of options and there was the jackpot flame incense relic. They nerfed the drop rate on this even though it was already about 0.3%. The Desperate Alliance relic is now worthless about 25% of what it was, mostly as all jewels are now indirectly nerfed as there’s only half the amount of jewel sockets on the tree. Against the darkness nerfed, relics less desired now, temporalis nerfed etc etc Trial of Chaos (LOL) why is it even still in the game ??? Soul cores all less useful and worthless to grind (Azcapa now gives gold instead of rarity lmao), the shield might as well have been removed from the game, Adorned nerfed by removing half the jewel sockets. I honestly can’t even think of a reason why this trial is even in 0.2 Arbitor - Morrior nuked and pointless now, diamond nerfed for same reasons as the others. Sacred flame actually would have been worth grinding for but apparently some dupers have managed to dupe this and price has halved in last couple of days (which GGG say and do nothing about). Expedition is the only one that seems better rewarding than 0.1 but even that has had dupers do it with the flask and so that seems pretty pointless to grind as well. Essence maps - seen one in 2 weeks The 10 boss in a row map - crap rewards Other unique maps all irrelevant Whisps LOL Overall there’s a lot less to grind for in the endgame than there was in 0.1 I just can’t understand why they have removed target farming from the game. It’s killing it for me I like how they reacted to everything Zizaran wanted within about 48 hours. Then he dies and leaves the game for LE, meanwhile everyone who has stuck with Poe2 is left with nothing to grind…. |

I'm a casual player, just this last weekend finally made to maps with my huntress. Probably played around 25+ hours on her, following a build guide, gear was so bad res were around 20-50% with all slots socketed, lv 64 character with gear around lv25-35...
Got no upgrade during second time around the acts. Was getting one shotted multiple times on blue starting maps, did not want to trade for "power", as I believe the whole point we play ARPG is to make the character stronger by killing monsters... After a few hours on maps felling miserable, I gave up and “cheated”, for only 5ex managed to upgrade my weapon doubling the damaged, my boots, and both rings by trading. Something has to change on the quality and quantity of items. If with only a few exalts you can trade for items that would take multiple hours to farm and then even more to upgrade it killing monsters, we are not playing a ARPG game anymore, but a trading game, and is not fun. If you don’t want to change loot rate so you don’t mess with trading and the “market”, then implement the change only for the SSF modes, either increasing quality and quantity, create ways to target farm for specific type of items/slots, etc. Take a look on some of the ideas Last Epoch have, than use the data to compare player retention/satisfaction on the 2 different modes… |

Damn the modding on the reddit right now is insane. Dedicating enormous efforts to moderating your players criticisms of your game vs just fixing it and communicating with your player base of your intent. Absolute failure, less than zero, behavior.

Easter + ANZAC gave GGG a 3 day week last week, but they (according to JR) hoped but didn’t guarantee getting out last week. We are now 3 days into the week after and still nothing, by their own estimates it’s at least a day late now.
