Stop catering to the whiners

I'd like to post a hot take for the developers. Can you please stop letting the whiners bully you into making this game easy. My friends and I love this game. We played day 1 and have been playing everyday since. With each person joining the game got harder, and the bosses were a real challenge. I felt it was very balanced. Then the previous patch came out and it was a real slog. I loved it. I had to respec my guys a bit and change some things, but I loved the challenge. Now the more recent rollbacks have ruined the entire game for me. Its even easier then it was at launch, so you OVER rolled back. My buddies don't even want to play together anymore. Its too easy. We almost never die and our mid range characters in the 30-40's can solo everything, even when we are grouped in a game together. I spent last night just tagging along as my buddy cleared map after map with me in game, and I never had to help and even if I wanted to help, he cleared it too fast for me to hit anything. This is with level 40 characters! Yes, the enemies do damage if we are dumb, but we can kill everything with mediocre gear in seconds. Its a joke. I made a new character and I beat all the bosses alone with no problem and with bad gear and got to level 25 in a afternoon with no deaths and no scary moments. I breezed through it. Where is the strategizing and fine tuning your character come into play when you can clear a screen of mobs including rares in seconds with trash gear?? I understand this generation of gamers wants it easy and they want to feel like gods, but there are so many of us that DONT. We live for the challenge and its why we make new characters, to really try to optimize strategies. The mobs need to have more life at the very least. Please stop listening to all the people whining on steam about it being a "Slog" in a negative way.

Sadly, it's likely to just keep getting worse... and by worse I mean braindead easy.
Oh wow, look at the expert here with a level 40 character. He is owning at level 40!
If you and your two friends would be enough to sustain such a game..maybe.
In the real world, not gonna happen. And thanks for that.

Here's your problem. There's a game mode specifically designed for tryhards which you purposely chose not to play.

"Almost never"...read again "almost never"...lulz.
Sounds like you guys are ready to play HC. Problem solved.

Also, there’s balance issues around loot and weapon types that goes beyond whiny players.

Not everyone is steamrolling the same as you and some builds are clearly doing better than others. I think the difficulty is in the perfect spot for a rake Ritualist. Most white mobs are cleared with one button and blues, rares and uniques need combos.

One reason players call the campaign a "slog" is precisely because they want to get to the challenging content that is the post-game (or "Atlas" and "mapping" as PoE 1 people call it). You want challenge, you go craft a waystone to have "monsters have more health, damage, this, that" with "players have less this, that, get cursed, etc". Then you stack multiple layers of extra content in one map. That's where the challenge is. The whole campaign is a giant tutorial really, one that many new players are failing at as they don't understand how gear works and/or get overwhelmed by combat complexity in crowds/bosses.

Mind, your accumulated knowledge from playing many characters will be useful for figuring out solutions to Atlas challenges. So come to the post-game.

Yes yes, keep catering to the minority. Like Concord, Avoved, Dragon Age Veilguard etc. Theyve all catared to the minority, see how that ended up. You should also add the popular "its not for you" or "dont like it go play another game" :D People have legit criticism about balance between skills, power, loot etc. Just ignore them. Thats not how EA works.
