So your point was that the difference between a T1 and T16 mobs barely matters, while the monster gains somewhere between 30% to 50% more base damage, that obviously multiplies with other mods and thus applies bigger hits, you need to compensate with your "Stun Threshold", but it doesn't matter because you say it doesn't matter? Ok.
FINALLY. But didnt get the numbers correct. If you want to know the difference load up each one and stand there on a similar mob.
Its not 30 or 50% more thats for DAMN sure.
This was discussed like crazy back in .1. THeir health is a lot mroe, their damage is not.
"other mods" have nothing to do with the tier of the map.
"Go into a map and stand there with a similar mob", that's accurate, dude.
Here, that's how you back up what you say:

So, the "hYpE" for "Huntress" was SOOO huge that 45% choose to play her, but the hype the "Lich" wasn't even close enough - which resulted in a 32% difference!?
Yes. And it's actually 3 times as many people (who got to around level 80 so far) picked Amazon over Lich.

Hm... so... where is "Ritualist"? You know, the second ascendancy of this super-duper hyped class.
Both had the same marketing, both are from the same class, both are new...
a mysterium.
There's definitely a good argument / discussion there. Seems like there's definitely some imbalance between the classes that made most people playing huntress pick Amazon over Ritualist.
Personally for me I was dead set on doing elemental spears from when I saw the pre release announcement. I don't know why ritualist is favoured way less, GGG might have some of their own internal stats that could explain.
That being said people on the forums were asking for ascendancy respec so they could go from ritualist to amazon so definitely something to look into there. I think there's some late game potential with the tree ring setup (you could get three tri elemental attack rings + the unique staff with low base damage but crit forking) but it definitely seems way less new player friendly and maybe a bit too utility over actual power similar to the chronomancer. That being said some people probably love the utility, I definitely want to roll a chronomancer next just because of how cool the time skills seem.

Okay I am really starting to believe you never made it to end game at this point. Id say load up and do a t16 and actually test in game, but maybe you never have made it there.
You dont get stunned at a much higher freqency at t16 then t1. The reason for it is literally in stun thresholds definition I gave you.
Maybe you havent even made it to mapping? I really dont know at this point with you. Seems you dont know a lot of the basics

There isn't really a discussion because we know why "Amazon" dominates that much.
We got the information about the ascendancy nodes before 0.2.0 launch, and everyone who understands the game saw how ridiculous overpowered the "Amazon" nodes are compared to everything else, and ppl who did not see it had enough ppl telling them.

Let me ask you something, did you play a "Energy Shield"-based character and use nodes to base your "Stun Threshold" on your ES?

I don't know if I agree with that. It was very unclear on how the critical strike chance node worked, there was some clarification from Jonathan and Mark in an interview before the release but they also seemed unsure about how it worked. A lot of people were saying that node was going to either be the strongest node in the game or the weakest. It did turn out to be the strongest node though.
That being said I don't think the amazon is even the best user of spear skills. A lot of people are saying that it has a high player count because it's the best but look at one of the best theorycrafters fubgun who rerolled to deadeye: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7CikVIaNeo
That seems way more broken than amazon. Amazon probably just has the lowest gear requirements out of any ascendancy due to the crit node.

Okay yea, you need to actually apply things in game. Even POB doesn't have the answers to everything.
Ill let you reach t16s, whenever that might happen, and have you load up and check for yourself the difference between a t1 and t16 mob of the same type, and check how often you are stunned.
You will notice only a slight difference. Which is something youd know, if you reached that part of the game.

So, because your answer is, as always indirect as possible, I assume "Yes. You played an ES-based character with investment in stun threshold to base it on ES".
Because you like that ppl think for themselves, I leave you with that:
"What could cause your experience being different regarding Stun when you base your stun threshold on a hit pool that gets far greater numbers than any other hit pool, so the difference in impact going up in Tiers is less noticeable to you?".

Amazon is fine, but not that much overpowered. Deadeye is now the best ascendancy for Spear.

The first problem is that good rings cost a lot of money. The second problem is that although your plan with the unique stuff sounds good. But ritualism is difficult to implement this build, because it has practically no synergy with the staff, except for the rings. Useful talents are far away. Also, the problem is that +5 stone levels require good mana regeneration. In general, the idea is not bad, but all these "buts". It's easier to take an Amazon and hit it with a spear.
It's also a pretty high-level build. It will be quite difficult to overcome the boundary of 70-90 levels.
