Altar of Ascendancy does not grant Skill Points

HOLY F*** I figured it out. I killed the Trial Master (for the third time). Here's what you do.

1. Click the shrine "Interact to gain ascendency points"
2. Walk over to the Trial Master
3. Click refund points
4. Refund all your ascendency points so that you have zero allocated (not your normal passive points)
5. You should see that you now have 8 instead of 4

Only took me killing him 3 times and 1 divine worth of fragments till I figured this out.

Debug Info:
- Controller
- Witch using summon Hellhound
- Obtained ascendency points 2-4 4-6 6-8 on Trial of Chaos

Not sure if any of these affected it but maybe...

Sekhemas bug still a problem.
The Djinn coin stated in orange text that I'd get Ascendancy points 5 and 6. I've used multiple coins level 61 up. No points 5 & 6 when I click!!
I've completed 3 floors and scorpion boss multiple times with coins' Area Level 61-67.
Now I'm level 80 from mapping trying to get Djinn coins and it seems pointless to play this game.

How is it bug still a thing since April... Just happened to me with trial of the sekhemas. no points granted after the second floor (moster level 67). Clicking on the altar brings up the tree but does nothing.

It took finding this post to realize I'm not bugged, I was just confused. That shrine text sure is misleading.

If already have 4 points like me, you must complete the 3rd floor of Sekhemas or complete 10 trails.
