Could be worse, I’ve never shared my account yet GGG is asking me to buy another key and I have purchase 2 keys. This isn’t even counting the over $150 in coins I purchased early on to buy a bunch of storage tabs. I’ve lost 72 hours of game play. Support is still ignoring me. Great customer service GGG!!!

- spends 1300 $US and cries because can't afford 30 for a another account?
- someone bought skins, sure and they are tied to one account right or they just got away?
- GGG clearly states it involves remote play, so what has Xbox local sandbox environment had to do with anything? Ever considered that input might be manipulated and it's just spamming bots advertising for sites to buy currency and items and is hurting thousands of players? On a platform where virtually one can create hundreds or thousands of accounts and keep cycling them to nefarious purposes?
- Looking at the numbers of replies on this thread it sounds like it's a drop of water in the ocean, a small price to pay for stopping ban evasion and this spamming bot issue...

Well, keep feeding the thread... There's nothing better than farming divines while sipping on a good tear cocktail 😂

Interesting take but I still get spammed by RMT bots everyday I play this game so clearly they didn't stop the botting problem.

Talk to Microsoft support GGG is in violation of their TOS on game sharing they will issue you a full refund. When enough people start getting their refunds Microsoft will put pressure on GGG to stop this nonsense.

I think there are two types of players: players that would spend money and players that would not. If you're a player that would spend money, then I don't see the harm in purchasing a key for $30 which is actually just 300 points to spend in the store. If you're not a player that would spend money, then wait for the game to be completely free to play.

Say you're a parent and you want your son/daughter to play on a separate account from yours. Do you plan to just have them play without any stash tabs or MTX? What would you rather do instead? Skip out on PoE2 and buy them a $60 / $90 AAA game? Makes sense to me.

This take ignores the fact that they locked the accounts of people who already spent money in the shop. Often times more than the $30. It is simply bad business practice to then lock the accounts that have already spent money and demand more. Microsoft is even issuing refunds to people because they know its bad practice and don't want that associated with their store.
Not suggesting this is correct course of action or ethical but there are a lot of Redditors linking the XBox Game Share announcement post to Microsoft support and getting refunds instantly.
GGG have no rights to revoke Game Share, and the statement bots are running on XBoxes is literally impossible.
Let your personal morality decide what you choose.

This should be resolved on GGG and Microsoft business level, not bandaid using duct tape which made legit players splashed down the toilet.

Might be novelty to you, but remember this, people always should exercise their rights. Always.

No matter if thats express highway which is planned to pass thru your backyard without your consent or just few dollars stolen from your pocket.

Not sure who this is aimed at, but I have spent this amount so maybe I qualify.
The point has nothing to do with being able to afford 30$ but to do with GGG feeling that someone that has spent 1300 isnt entitled to a 30$ key. Lifetime supporters get free keys!
Technically, for parity with PC, as a lifetime supporter I should have got one for lifetime AND one for ea supporter pack. That’s 2 in total and they gave me just one AND revoked my son being able to play via game share.

Additionally 1300$ over 7 years (in my case how long I have played) is 15.50 (rounded) a month so it’s not a person with huge resources but a lot of years supporting the game and company.

I understand there is a group of people who are not fans of Microsoft, but I have found their support to have always been good and since Bill Gates retired to be exceptionally good.
Opinions do of course vary.

Don't blame your greed for money on some bots. I understand that you want to maximize your profit, but my grandson only visits me once a year, and we usually play games together, like *Path of Exile 2*. But due to the update, this is no longer possible, which means you are missing the opportunity to advertise to the next generation—our children. Well, that's your bad luck.“
