This is such an amazing game if you stop meta chasing

PoE players are so weird. You are playing a single player/non-competitive game. Just play whatever build you want. Enjoy the combat. I have been playing warrior since day 1 and I have always had fun. I have never looked at builds of other people and I am clearing my maps just fine.

So just improve the loot a bit honestly I barely found any upgrade in the campaign, and I'm not even playing meta build. Feel like doing nothing when this is a game to find a good loot.

I just want the game to respect my time

You might be in the wrong genre...
The whole point of ARPG is to make godlike builds to delete everything.

For goodness sake, let this games difficulty be tested thoroughly, no one knows whats good for them until experiments happen.

I don't find it amazing that the only way to get stronger is Selling shit to buy upgrades/skill gem

Also don't find it amazing that the devs somehow find it reasonable to nuke random shit like demon form, making it borderline garbage, in patch 0.2 while simultaneously releasing one of the most broken screen nuker abilities with spear.

So an expensive 90% fire res 1k life Regen fire witch build is not ok but go ahead and delete everything in the game with this tier 3 skill gem that does lightning damage

Oh btw most skills do lightning damage, a few do cold and fire but don't bother with them. Fire also has the lowest CRIT chance for no apparent reason, also burning stuff like you would do in other games doesn't work here, because Ignite is only works if the initial hit is huge, so no buildup

Also don't find it amazing that 99% of the gems are shoehorned into "martial weapon"

"ah maybe blood mage would be cool with some new bleed supports" guess not

Your problem seems more to do with what people choose to play with than anything else. Guess what? It's their choice. This game is literally single player game with some online elements. Nobody that's playing spear builds cares whether you're bothered by it or not.

If you prefer to play a tanky build that does less damage but can absorb more hits, go ahead... What's stopping you? Fire Witch is still viable.

Nobody, and I repeat, nobody gets to dictate what people play with. And I'm saying this as someone who never follows meta builds.

You care about a build that was good last league? This game constantly evolves every 3 months. Builds that used to be good last league doesn't necessarily mean will be good for current. They encourage doing different stuff, and most people are going spears because its probably the only weapon that they haven't played with.

This trend will continue until all weapons are released. Only then it will stabilize, and you'll see more diverse builds.

In 3 months, most will pick Flail if that's what they release next. Or druid. Or swords.

For some reason you feel almost "offended" that people play with spear, and lightning spear as well. It's none of your business.

The only thing you're right about, is the lack of support for ignite builds, especially when you have an entire quarterstaff that only does fire damage.

Cleared all content with explosive shot ingite to lightning conversion with shockburst round on deadeye.

Even managed to farm up to headhunter, high rolled ventors, an insane crossbow etc.. Made a total of around 250 divs (In various currency ranging from armor scraps, perfect jewelers, divines, tablets, simulacrums, breachstones)

Went normal bow auto attacks until I could switch to explosive shots, the helmet makes it apply shock and you delete the bosses with the zappy bolts.. Made it to maps in 8 hours pre difficulty changes and now leaving cause I ran out of content (all content cleared and nothing really left to farm for other than small increments in power)

There's more builds out there, just gotta try stuff.. My friend cleared everything with pathfinder poison burst
