Focusing on Minions - Lich? No! Infernalist ... Why?!

Can any Dev can tell me why, in the name of Goth and Heavy Metal, Ascendancy Class which focus on making army of dead is Infernalist and not a Lich?
Moreover, not only number of Minions is bigger, but damage output to;
- Seething Body -> Gain 20% of Damage as Fire Damage with a "little" penalty
- Beidat's Will -> 25% is not much compare to number of new minions and damage boost from everything else (more minions, more damage)
- Bringer of Flame -> easy bonus
- Minion Life -> no penalty at all
vs.
- Necromantic Conduit -> Unholy Might is ok but, 4m near me and constant loss of mana is a Big No
- Rupture the Soul -> 4m near, with "chance" of 33%, and almost pointless in boss fights ... bravo...
- Blackened Heart -> on paper is good, but ... it is in the end of separate branch from Necromantic Conduit! Why?!

What happen?! Can someone explain me logic in it?

Yeah I'm very sad there is no dedicated necromancer in the game. Come on, lich has an army of minions in the illustration.

Give us something that gives us more spirit instead of whatever the fuck "Price of power" or "Eldritch Empowerment" are supposed to be
Or simply, in Lich, make X zombies permanent, lower cost of minions, Make Passives 0 Cost of Spirits! It's kills summon builds!
So i am not the only thinking about this.

I'm pretty sure GGG wants to make a different class the main minion one. Probably Templar or Druid and i don't like it.

While i disagree quite a bit with your opening post and find the lich to have a greater dmg output and survivability as far as minion builds are concerned, i'd love it if lich had X zombies in the ascendacy tree like the dogo for infernalist.

It's EA, they're constantly adressing and changing different things. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worst. A work in progress is a work in progress.

Honestly, i'd rather they work on the minions themselves first before going for changing ascendancies. They have to make that minions are able to hold more agro.

GGG do a good job with PoE 1, and they still doing a good job with it. Now, with PoE 2 I can give them the benefit of the doubt, and I hope they will not waste it.

Right now, what kills Summon Gameplay for me is;
- lack of dedicated Summoner Ascendancy
- Spirit, as right now it is a shared resource with Minions and Passives which mean you must abandon one
- Summons are very bad at aggroing
- corpse management do not exist; temporary minions from corpses are almost useless (to short timer and they are weak), if even some bosses spawn summons, they do not leave corpses, and so on
- as mentioned in first post, most useful things need to me to sacrifice my minions (reduce in overall strength) or to be close to enemy (easy suicide)
