3.26 expectations

No news at all on POE1 all there focus is PO2 which is BS.

let's just say i'm done supporting their lack of humanity. i will check every coming league and who knows maybe when 4.0 gets released i will support it again but for now hell nah.

3.26 gna be boring unless they do massive balance changes + add new skills

Leaving a league within a "few weeks" is totally OK. The most dedicated players will have experienced everything there is to experience in a new league in that time. And people making their decisions based on a streamer's decision are people with issues.

GGG has got themselves in a massive hole. Their vision for POE2 just seems bad. And that's causing the game to be "on fire" as Jonathan put it. And so far they've made the game worse in 0.2, which is bad for POE1.

Initially they said they would start working on 3.26 once they released 0.2... but with the disaster that is 0.2, I doubt they start working on 3.26 until 0.3 now. And 0.3 will probably come out by early August? That means we're waiting at least until September or October for 3.26.

And the longer they wait, the more POE1 players will simply quit and never come back, which further reduces the incentive for them to produce POE1 content.

Yeah IMO they never ever should have made POE2, it's been bad for GGG, and another thing we that still do play POE1 and for GGG not to have any news really about the future and up coming things regarding POE1 is even worse. All there focus is, is POE2 and making micro's for POE2. Ive supported GGG since 2013 and now i care less and less.

When was that ever a problem? The whole attraction of PoE1 is that a league comes out, there's new shit, one plays for a few weeks, enjoys the new shit, has fun, gets done, and quits until he plays the next or another league.

We can already be fairly sure that some of the energy for 3.26 is going to be spent on «making Faustus core» :
- Currency Exchange Market in trade leagues.
- Re-specialization means GGG needs to integrate him somehow in every town, starting with Act 1. Which also means new voiced monologues.
- The above using gold means a gold rebalance when going Kingsmarch-less.
- Gold still needing a sink for players not using the two features above means Black Market comes too.

So considering the energy required for the above and the messy drain that is PoE2 (and also the DDoSes on top ?), expect 3.26 (and the associated leagues) to be below average (and/or I guess postponed even more).
Especially if what you think of as 'average' is Affliction / Settlers, which I understand have been way better than average, especially Settlers + 3.25 with its melee rework (« best league ever, maybe even better than Oriath »).
