in the process of banning those who abused it and removing
It's not fair to ban players who literally used in-game items exactly as their descriptions stated. This is very different from something like "instance resetting" in the previous league. There's a clear distinction between exploiting code bugs and following item mechanics that were described in plain text — the issue here isn't abuse, it's your lack of testing and oversight. Removing the extra items from the economy is fine, but the players who discovered this did a better job testing the game than your entire team — you should be thanking them.
this. this so much. GGG should be ashamed for banning these people. i'm beginning to believe the "vision" is absolute incompetence and that they don't even play the game outside of their controlled atmosphere. what a horrible patch exacerbated by inadequate testing.

If you find the time, please fix acolyte of chayula ascendency nodes in one of these. Hopefully it's a minor fix.
Just need to make it leech ES even if your mana is full. In it's current state it's a dead node when it could've been a super cool and build-defining mechanic

As someone that's not even playing 0.2, I'm absolutely disgusted that you'd ban anyone for using the new Tablet literally as designed.
At this point you're just punishing people for combining things you design yourself. You may as well start banning people for using Twisters the first two days of the league because it was doing too much damage.
The jealous crybabies win this one. While they were raging on the forums, people were playing the game and using intended mechanics and getting rich off of it. Can't have that. "PLEASE GGG BAN THEM OMG! By the way you suck and your game is trash."

9 days until Last Epoch, well done, GGG. Starting this patch felt like pushing the community to play ruthless and it is not getting better. You will lose your players...

You're banning people again or being able to read and do math? They just used an item you put in the game, in the way you intended, to the obvious conclusion it would result in, and now they're banned? So glad I'm not playing this version of the game so I don't get banned for trying to *checks notes* juice my maps.
I hope you're not doing things like modifying your character stats from different sources or killing bosses quickly. Sounds like an exploit!

Y'all made something infinite and didn't think people would abuse it? Then you're gonna go and ban them for using it how it was said? I do like the patch as I feel stuff was way overtuned as it was, but banning people for using an item y'all made and messed up with is pretty lame.

And now that with this mistake the market is messed up, what do you plan to do? Honestly, I don’t care about the difficulty and all that. But I won’t let the market be ruined...
Here is an example, one from 8 hours...

Listen, does really anyone thought that mechanics which can generate a big amout of wealth in a short time in PoE 2 works as intended?

The Freedom of Faith Unique Tablet now has "Can Reroll Favours at Ritual Altars in your Maps twice as many times" (from being able to reroll them infinitely). This affects existing versions of the item, as well as existing maps influenced by this tablet. This change is in the wake of an item exploit that was occurring, the exploit was fixed approximately 8 hours ago preventing any further abuse and we are currently in the process of banning those who abused it and removing the wealth generated by it from the economy.
Banning people for what ? It wasn't bug... all fault is on GGG in this case.
Once again, report an exploit, don’t abuse it, and you won’t get banned.
What part of this don’t you guys understand?
Obvious to every single person with a functioning brain that this was not how it was intended.
Semantics won’t help your case.
Now in terms of bans, perm would be much maybe, i think they got a temp probably.
But the wipe of all items was 100% necessarry to save the economy.
Everyone who defends this action feels suspicious to me.
I believe it is disproportionate, if you discuss something that was not forced, only using the mechanics that were in the game, it is considered an exploit, so if there is a problem, to the extent that using what is in the game will be considered an exploit, I believe it is not, but common sense would say that the players were gaining an unfair advantage in the mechanics, so I think there should be punishment, but I think a ban is too much.
Reset the season for these players and give a 5-day timeout, they will start all over again and then they will get a flag (yellow card if it were soccer), if they do more things of the same type, it is characterized as intent and then it is a red card (expulsion in soccer), so it is a punishment and a nice warning not to keep up with these "innocent abuses"
If you want to distrust me for trying to rationalize, I suspect that you do not like rationalization, my dear exile.
that thinks, does not leave unpunished, leaves the authors on temporary suspension, leaves them marked to monitor if they will cause problems again but it is not an extreme final punishment.
