I disagree. Unlike other people here I don't think you need to have that much resist gear. If you can get it, sure get it, but really you just need good damage and learn the mechanics.

Geonor is such an amazing boss. This is a skill issue I'm sorry to say.

Every one of his attacks has a unique line of audio that plays.
Listening to him allows you to know whats coming next Early phase - stay to his side or behind him when he locks himself into an animation. - If he darts across the screen he's going to turn around and slash behind him. Rolling - Save your roll for situations when you know he's locked int a specific attack and you want to clear away from it Meteor attack - When he holds up his sword and vanishes into a red cloud, he's going to slam down on you, keep running until you see the ground aoe form and only use the roll to clear the ground indicator. Don't roll too soon or your roll will end inside the aoe (this happens again for the act 3 boss) Ice spreading on ground - Move away and hug the wall using any range you have available Add phase - Have some way to aoe down the wolves if you don't do enough damage to skip the phase - He charges across the screen about a second and a half AFTER he stops talking so be ready to dodge Room wide aoe Requiem on High - Keep your distance and watch the ground avoiding clusters of aoe. - Walk around. Don't dodge unless a big cluster of aoe's are over you. Late phase - Spams abilities more Room wide aoe Requiem + Blood - Does a lot more damage, don't worry about dpsing focus on avoiding it Last edited by Helios#8298 on May 1, 2025, 5:12:51 PM
