FPS is so bad its unplayable
I made a new pc a week ago. It has 9950x3d, 9070 xt, 64 gb of 6000mhz ram, 12000mb/s nvme and I have played poe 2 with around 260 fps with FSR and 200fps without upscaling. Now I can't turn on FSR at all and I have 130fps without upscaling which drops to below 50 on a single spellcast, it's constantly stuttering and spell effects don't show :(

Same issue here, ryzen 5600 and 3070ti, before 0.2.0 I had 140+ fps with full settings, now it drops below 10 regularly. Vulkan seems to be better as it holds vsync cap 99% of time but it makes more crashes.

The game has become very stuttery after the patch on both pc and ps5, very sad.
4070ti super 9800x3d I tried switching to vulcan which gave worse performance and turning off reflex did not resolve the issue either. Last edited by Aelin21#7976 on Apr 4, 2025, 4:33:23 PM

Same - Major FPS drops since trying to play poe2 again. It runs smooth for 5 or 6 seconds then fps drops to 5 for 5 or 6 seconds and then back.
3080TI, i9 13900k, 64gb ddr5 Also had no issues for several hundred hours at poe2 release. No changes to pc other than regular updates/drivers/etc. |

Turning off Nvidia Reflex and or switching to Vulkan have resulted in clearing up the FPS issues. I turned of Nvidia Reflex and it fixed it for myself.

Same:
9800x3d RTX 4070 Going to try switching to vulkan and turning off nvidia reflex like others suggested. |

Turning on Vulkan cause the game to instantly crash for me and Nvidia reflex is off. But I guess it might work for Nvidia cards?

Maybe anecdotal but turning off Nvidia reflex fixed my fps fluctuation from 144-15. now running stable at 144 again so far...

" +1, fixed some but not all issues with shit performance of this version still getting spikes of random GPU overloads, while the 0.1 versio worked perfectly smooth |
