deleting "C:\Users\<USER>\Documents\my games\Path of Exile 2\poe2_production_Config.ini".
might solve the issue. I did few tests and vulkan is not working for me, if I set vulkan my game insta crash. with directX it's working properly. I also have CPU/GPU AMD... probably it's a issue related to Vulkan and AMD setup |

Having the same issue
I launch game from steam, it gets to the 2 gears loading screen and crashes (Not Responding). I verified game integrity and close a bunch of backgrounds apps, still having same issue. Intel i7 and RTX 3060 with latest drivers, Windows 11 Deleted .ini and still crashes Last edited by jpichie#5960 on Apr 4, 2025, 3:36:19 PM

Had the same problem, what Milkboy said works. Doing that deletes your settings, changing from Vulkan to DX and allowing me to launch the game.
But now whenever I switch to Vulkan ingame my game crashes instantly. That's a problem, because the game runs like crap on my AMD if using DX Last edited by iHiems#0168 on Apr 4, 2025, 3:41:27 PM

Deleted ini, tried DX11/12/Vulcan, all chrases when using character in new league. OLD LEAGUE WORKS

Same here.
Ryzen 7800X3D RTX 5080, newest driver Happens both on Vulcan and DirectX 12, deleting the .ini file does not help. |

AMD CPU/GPU (6600XT) here,
Changing Vulkan to Directx in "poe2_production_Config.ini". Attempt to set back Vulkan immediately crashes the game. I would say Vulkan is broken (and yes, I did used Vulkan before patch). |
