PS5 & PC | Exit to Character Select freezes game PoE2 0.1.1g

On PS5 PoE2 0.1.1g
- Login with any character - Open the Game Menu then select Exit to Character Selection - Game freezes at Entering Character Select. Happens about 1 in 3 times. Characters in town still move around. Also happening on PS5 pro, happened 3 out of 4 times for me since the latest update.

Happening after running awhile.
Exit to character select crashes the game. PC + Vulken While the snow remains,
veiled in the haze of evening, a cold leafless branch. Flowers are only flowers because they fall, but thankfully the Wind. |

For the above people commenting on the crash using windows, is the error the same as what i got below? (via event log)

On PC. Since latest patch the game crashes every time I enter a portal once a zone is completed. (Yes, I've also reinstalled the game).

My game also "soft freezes" on pressing exit to character selection on PC (steam). Happens pretty much every time I try it

I am experiencing this same error on PS5. Every time I click exit to character screen the game freezes completely. Happens consistently.
